starts this weekend.

Feel Eddie Jones has to get off to a good start (losing to the Scots wouldn't be a great first match!) and its a big call to make Hartley captain.

Wales usually seem to win the 6 nations after a World Cup and with Ireland struggling a bit with injuries and retirements maybe its their time again.

That was a strange game, we were largely awful for the first 50 minutes.

Good point GG, would have been interesting had it not been for the interception but they strolled it after that. Watson and Joseph are the two that scare me the most.

Watching the Cheetahs vs. Jaguares game earlier and then this makes it more painful to watch.

England breaking through Ireland at will, no idea how they are only 6-3 up at the moment. This is painful to watch after the past two seasons of glory. Billy Vunipola is a beast, he has three times the amount of yards gained that Ireland have in totality.

Ireland's last ditch defending has been good, but it's not sustainable. If the second half is similar then England should win comfortably.

England getting away with one there. Van der Flier clearly over (referee just asked the wrong question to the TMO) and England would have had to withstand another five minutes of pressure with 14 men and a 4-6 point lead. They should have finished the game off in the first half, but Ireland have been shafted by the officiating in the second. Try not given and Haskell could have received a second yellow for clearly preventing a try through foul play.

Wales vs England for the title, could go either way. I think the Wales defence will win out though.

Got away with a couple certainly but there's zero doubt England were far better and far more deserving even with 14 men for 20 minutes.

We won for the first time in 10 games, yay! At least I can face my Italian brother-in-law once more as I wasn't wanting to get wound up about being beaten by feckin' Italy!!

England have been utterly dominant, by far the best performing side in the Six Nations this season. Ireland held on for dear life in the first half a couple of weeks ago, Wales unable to do the same. Genuinely surprised as I thought their defence would handle them better than the Irish.

Impressive though, future is bright for England.

Yeah would have been great to nick that at the end but wouldn't have been deserved. France will always step up against England but I can only see one winner there. (Works for my acca too )

My heart rate is only now returning to normal. Being an Englishman in Cardiff, I don't think I could handle another 10 minute demolition job against that lot.

The extreme positive for England is that we're 4/4 with so much to improve on, I think we're definitely moving in the right direction under Jones. Itoje deserved MOTM, he was an animal today. Great to see Tuilagi back as well. Onwards to France, will be a tough, low scoring game I imagine and England will need to same discipline we showed in the first 60 today to win.

England get the first try in their quest for a Grand Slam.

Open start to the game.

Amazing what you can do when you have a forward thinking coach who allows the players to think for themselves, rather than insisting everything is played by the numbers. England have a very good set of players here who will become a very good side.
