Ended the season with a tipsy turvy 3-2 win vs Shrewsbury. Ended the season in fairly decent form and a top half finish. Which I think is a decent showing for our first season back up here. It will be an interesting summer though and potentially abit of a re build. I’d personally like to see Lincoln go up as they were the best side we’ve faced this season imo.

I like the way Crewe play. We played you three times at the start of the season and we was out of our depth then.
Think we can get top half with the squad we have now. It will be a case of who can Evatt attract, what i dont want is another overhaul. If we can keep the loan signings Evatt wants and adds 4 big signings.......Keeper, RB C/h and another forward to give Doyle help i think we could reach the play offs

If we make it tomorrow, we'll be up against Blackpool, Sunderland and Lincoln.

Only Sunderland beat us twice, at our place in the first home game of the season, in a force ten gale, when we were a shadow of the side we are now and full of injuries. At their place recently when we unjustly had a man sent off, after being ahead and outplaying them, they had a penalty and a last minute goal. I would really fancy us if we played Sunderland, nothing to fear, and we owe them one.

Lincoln, we lost away on the very first day of the season, again had a man sent off unjustly (we appealed it and it was overturned) and, as against Sunderland, were a shadow of the side we are now. In the return fixture we won comfortably.

Blackpool, we drew away and lost the home game, during our mad four days when we also lost away to a dreadful Northampton side. They beat us fair and square, but I'd be surprised if we put in that kind of performance if we played them again in the play-offs.

So, not as black and white as you might think. We're bang at it at the moment, if we make it we'll be that team who has got there with a late run that nobody wants to play. It's cup football, and we're pretty good at that. We also have the experience of last year's play-off disappointment to draw on. We've got to get there first, but if we do, we're very confident.
You already 2 down in injury time when your player got a second yellow

I watched Portsmouth vs Accrington and Pompey are miles away from having side that mirrors Cowley.

Nowhere near enough mobility, pace or bite for him to do anything with.

Bizarre that the two jobs he's taken since leaving us have been outside transfer windows, not his normal style, he tended to take jobs during the summer so he can have a proper sort out.
No doubt he'll be a studio guest for our playoff games or nicky will

Looks like some of our players are keen to decide their own futures under teetotaller Danny Cowley. Sounds like a lone student was hospitalised in the incident and the club owners have now banned the players from all of their venues. Nice.

As well as that incident there's the typical video being tweeted around of some of our players joyously getting tanked up at a local pub on Sunday evening. It's all a volatile mix with plenty of fans out and about, not too happy with the Accrington no-show.

I get that they've been in a "bubble" for a long time and they need to let off steam, but read the room FFS.
