Since Peterborough have so many friends in League One - Wycombe fans who endured endless bitter rants about snatching 'their' promotion, Cambridge fans who have put up with years of Borough being touted as a 'natural Championship club' trademark Radio Cambs, Darragh whatsisface, Ferguson Jr, etc (four seasons in the Championship in living memory, relegated in three of them) instead of a money pit for the dodgy timeshare spiv's equally dodgy cash, etc etc - I thought their return to their spiritual home deserved a thread of its own.

A club that can only oscillate between two managers as no-one else in their right mind would work there - what's not to love?

Welcome back then, Peterborough - I'm so looking forward to those fixtures already...

Just need Northampton to come up and the friendship is just about complete I’d say!

It’s certainly the first fixture I’ll be looking for and I cannot wait for it already(just don’t be on the 24th sept as that’s when I’m getting married)

They don't like anyone... they're the kid at school who acted like he was the dog's bollocks whilst being bang average at the few things he wasn't crap at...

Looking forward to welcoming Mr Szmodics. Posh are a really dislikeable club aren't they?

How the ref fell for that(no pun intended) I’ll never know, just a truly awful decision.

The weekly putting of the championship table has been done at work on the resident Peterborough fan's locker.
Winding the c*** up after the shit he was giving out.

One of the pluses of just failing (by approx 15 places) to gain promotion from L2 is that our first game next season will not be against Posh. Nothing much against them, but in was getting predictable (and we did tend to lose more than win) :)

To be honest I’ve never really had a problem with the club itself, it’s more just MacAnthony and some dick on the Peterborough local rag that really threw tantrums about us.

If we stay down, they used to have a godawful record at Adams Park, so that would be something to welcome as a continued trend.

Alan Swann? He's a bit marmite, says what he thinks. good local football reporter though.

If it wasn't for the Chairman and Manager they'd just be like any other club. Seem to be struggling to get the new ground approved.

You can have Northampton if that will keep you happy, we already have enough West Country teams here next season for a nice little mini-league, bragging rights and the odd needle game...it would be greedy to want Swindon to join us as well, though I suspect Oxford fans might secretly hope for them to win the play-offs, even if they hate them!

Well this Oxford fan doesn't.

I don't wish Swindon any success. Ever. Fuck em.

I'm looking forward to Swindon coming up. fingers crossed. Peterborough is a good trip from the South coast. As many Southern/South Midland clubs as possible
