First 15 mins or so aside a fantastic dominating performance from England again. Weigman has really stepped up this team from what Neville was doing and the depth is fantastic. Honeslty the way she has used subs and been tactically flexible in this tournament i think Southgate could learn something as game management and changing the flow of the game are critical weaknesses he has as a manager IMO. The fact Russo is coming off the bench shows how deep the squad is, to be honest id have her instead of White as the link play is better but i get White is a bit of a talisman in her own right.

Swedish keeper didnt cover herself in glory and in the womens game there are always a lot of comments about the keepers and how good they are but Earps made some bloody good saves tonight too which is worth pointing out if we are going to comments on every slightly dodgy moment

Loved this evenings match. That back heel might have been lucky but if you don't try things, they don't happen.

As far as Russo goes, I wonder if coming fresh of the bench when the opposition defenders are starting to get tired helps her get the freedom on the pitch. Whatever, I can't see Sarina Weigman making any great changes for the final.

I thought the same about Russo - I think Weigman would be crazy to start her on Sunday. Don't change a formula that's clearly reaping dividends.

As for that back heel goal, such a chef's kiss.

Didn't see tonights game, but from the highlights both Germany and France looked to have some real flair and power behind them. Should be a very tough game Sunday

France are a flair team but they weren't that good tonight, Pity though as I rekon England would find them easier than the Germans.

One thing really annoyed me, I couldn't get a ticket, they were sold out but tonight it said 27000 at the stadium. What happened to the other 3000+ seats?

People not turn up despite getting tickets I guess.

Clubs often say a game is sold out then you find there are empty seats.

We base our actual attendances on tickets sold though like most clubs, so without the segregation excuse I can't see where there are 3,000 seats that weren't on sale.

There may be an element of people buying tickets and not turning up but I think the capacities of grounds have been reduced for games held in them during this tournament. This might be for a variety of reasons, probably due to only being able to use areas with seating and not terraces or safe-standing sections. I watched one of the games from the Manchester City Academy stadium and there were definitely no spectators behind either of the goals, areas that are terraces, which may back up that theory. Either way, the attendances have been large and noisy...even if there appear to have been a few empty seats!

They allocated them to Wycombe fans?

I wonder if UEFA do as the club had bugger all to do with selling the tickets, that was all down to UEFA, You coudn't even go to the ticket office and buy tickets. Uefa took over everything. Our club shop had to be shut and only UEFA merchandise allowed.

The club shop is closed because Castore are taking over it so there'll probably be a bit of an overhaul in the next week to get it ready by the 6th August. The club however have said that the ticket office is open for MK games.

I had four tickets, but had to flog them because of the train strike. I would imagine many others were in the same boat and probably couldn’t shift them. Seemed to be load of tweets this last week offering tickets.

I know WE announce attendance based on seats sold, but UEFA may request that it’s only ever reported as numbers in the ground.

Must admit, I'm nervous. Not much between the teams on paper but the Germans have the confidence that comes with having won the thing so many times.

However, we have home advantage and possibly the best coach in the women's game. Also, I reckon we have greater depth on the bench. I'm expecting Germany on top early and England growing into the game. 2-1 England, possibly needing extra time.

Good half of football, entertaining and a bit fractious. England had the better of it just but Germany do look a threat and when the ball is around the box we do look a bit nervy. Felt White should have buried the early header she had probably the best chance of the game.

Ref is terribly inconsistent, some nothing fouls been given as yellow cards whilst Oberdorf is out there doing what she likes as well as other vagaries. Bit worried about Stanway on the yellow I must say

Both teams looks absolutely shattered. Long thought in all football regardless whether it’s men or women if can’t separate them after the 90 go straight to the shootout.

Never thought I’d ever see England win something. Absolutely brilliant from the Lionesses. To see the pub going mental when Kelly scored shows the progress made. Hopefully we can build on this so that girls can dream in the same way young lads can of being a pro, playing in big games in front of big crowds and making a good living out of the game.

Toone’s goal was world class btw.

I think we can probably close the betting for team and coach of the year on BBC Sports Personality this year...that was brilliant.

That was nerve wracking, really feared the Germans would go on to win after they equalised...but this team really know how to dig in and get a result, so proud of them this evening.

Yes - that was really impressive.

Didn't cave in and were the better team in Extra time.

The best 2 yard poke in at Wembley ever maybe...
