We don't know who it is? It's not like a phone record for the police where you can just go back through the records for an investigation weeks later, there's no footprint.

Wtf is the issue...seriously, this is a joke, right? Or are people really this offended by what's going on? 9/10 times you read what's said before someone edits so you see the initial point and tbh the edits aren't funny and get ignored anyway.

People posting photos/personal details etc. of others is bang out of order though and warnings/suspensions should be handed out for that.

What essentially amounts to preschool name calling on a football forum shoutbox? Get a grip...whoevers doing it and whoever is genuinely bothered by it.

Unfortunately, I'm struggling to think of something constructive in terms of reasoning for handing out bans to people that whinge, moan and generally just bring the site down constantly.

Why do the mods even need editing powers? There's (pretty much) nothing good that they can be used for. Ban all the mods from editing shouts. If that's not allowed or something, I second Blade's comment.

As Dave said, there HAS to be another solution. Yeah, the box has its problems, but some of my experiences in the box may apply to others. For one, I would have never appreciated this forum as much if it wasn't for the shoutbox. I found another big, big football forum, one which has a lot of South American football fans, I'm sure you know which one I'm talking about. If it wasn't for the box, I probably would have stopped posting here as I talk to myself a lot of times in the threads of the football I'm into. Even in the box at times, and that's because the box made me appreciate the member base on here. I probably would have never met members like AaronBCFC, Craig, JJH, a lot of members I respect and am friendly towards as I have no interest in the football they are into. On TFF before it shut down, I wasn't a supporter, so I didn't make my way onto the box, and looking back I only ever remember talking a lot to StevenCC. I probably would have left by now if it wasn't for the box. If the box disappears now, I wouldn't leave because I've grown on the member base here. Yeah there are some I don't like, no names will be given (although a few are obvious), but I do very much care for 90% of the members on here.

Last night Dave photo-shopped a pic I posted a bit back of myself and made it look like I was Del Boy from only fools and horses.

I laughed as I didn't want to come across as a humourless bastard, and I had made the photo public domain by uploading it to be fair, however, I was extremely embarrassed and hurt and felt my personal space had been violated. It's not acceptable behaviour, I gave him no permission to use my image.
