Absolutely must win, but we need to perform much better than we did in the Pompey game.

We've already beaten Accrington twice this season, but it'll be a tough game still. One of our easier remaining games, so really need to get the 3pts.

I think we'll win 2-1.

Our season is these 3 games. Portsmouth, Accrington, Dagenham.

The 4 after that are horrible fixtures and 4 certain defeats. Therefore I said we needed 6 points from these 3 matches (5 at an absolute minimum if results go our way). So far we've picked up 1 point, so we need preferably 2 wins from the next 2 games or or a draw and a win at the very least. Anything less and we're gone.

Sadly I see nothing in this current CUFC side that suggests to me it's capable of winning another game this season. We've turned from poor relegation candidates into an absolutely woeful shower of shite with relegation written all over it. I've predicted 1 more point from our remaining 6 matches and it will either come in this or the Dagenham match.

Accrington due a win against us and need 1 more win for that magic 50 points. If we play like we did on Friday they'll get it here. 3-1

We're without a win in 8 so we are due a win - eventually. We played well with 10 men away at Morecambe on Fri. Carlisle always bring plenty of fans with them to our place lets hope its the same on Mon so we get a good atmosphere :-)

If you're looking to end a bad run you came to the right team! We're slowly becoming notorious for doing just that.

Yeah we will bring a decent following. Have you any idea why your club refused to send us the tickets to sell here? It's going to be a nightmare 1,500 people trying to buy tickets for the away end tomorrow.

Thirlwell starts in midfield, and Grainger replaces Brough at left back. He isn't in the squad though so may be injured.

Other than that fairly strong team, and hopefully we get the much needed 3 points.

I've never been so embarrassed to support Carlisle. 3-0 to Accrington and honestly the only word I can use to describe it is embarrassing.

Well I'm leaving the ground now and sadly it went exactly as I thought. The warning signs have been there for weeks, we're an abysmal team who are going to finish bottom of this shit league.

The third goal would be hilarious if it wasn't so damaging.

The players and manager got a barrel of abuse at the end and rightly so.

Oh and LOL at the attendance. 2,200 yeah right!!

That's us down unfortunately. I predicted that we'll get another point, I'm not so sure we'll even get that.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Yep i'd say today pretty much highlighted we're in deep deep trouble.

my biggest worry is in the last 2 weeks we had 2 great games to win vs badly out of form Oxford and Accy sides and our team put in ZERO effort.

your supposed to be fighting for your careers and turn up not giving a sh*t, that is the unforgivable part.

Players en masse need gone in summer, but little there can be done now, they do need to sack Curle in the next 24 hours the guy is inept but that is not surprising when 4 clubs in 10 years decided to oust him......so hmm yep its reason for our board to appoint him.

Sack Curle then put someone in temp charge until we get new owners as i do not trust clueless Jenkins and Nixon in appointing the next guy with their dreadful track record.

You'll do really well next season with your star man Akinde, a proven league striker.

Oh wait.

Akinde is a different animal compared to when he was in the football league before; he'll score 20+ in this league no problem.

Bit harsh :(

You're a massif club in the Vanarama though, so no surprise you're tearing it apart....

Slight relief is that our relegation rivals also all lost. We've seen another good chance to pick up points pass us by, so we have one chance left before things really get hard for us. We absolutely have to increase the gap between ourselves and relegation when we play Dagenham. We have to win, and Tranmere, Hartlepool and Cheltenham all have to lose, and even then that will just give us a little extra cushion for when we inevitably pick up no more points between then and the Hartlepool game, which if we're lucky will be enough to save us, but may well not be.

I admire your optimism shoddy, but we've only won 2 home games this year so far. Do you honestly think there's a chance we'll win 2 of our remaining 3 home games?

Opposition seem to love playing on Brunton park. Our shower of shite seems to fertilise the pitch and turn opponents into Real Madrid.

It's an outside chance, I said it was only slight relief. Had the others all won I'd have expected bookies to start paying out on us going down. At some point one of these teams with nothing to play for has to fail to turn up. Well... they might anyway.

Our problem is, we're so shite now that when we do play well (Morecambe at home) we still fail to win. We're too soft, not ruthless enough when we're on top.

The players go a goal up and absolutely shit themselves. It's almost as if they know they are so shit that when they go 1-0 up they think "oh shit, we've offended them by going a goal up, we'd better sit back and not piss them off anymore otherwise they'll run riot".

Our group of players are gutless. I thought we'd get 1 more point, I now don't think we'll even get that. Our only hope is tranmere picking up no more than 2 points from the next 5 games and Cheltenham no more than 4.

But that's not going to happen, that's why I'm certain we'll be relegated.

Carlisle missed some good chances during the game - would have been a different story had one of them gone in. Our third goal was typical of how things go against you when your at the bottom. Hope you stay up but I think it may go to the last day...
