Advice needed!

Hello, so one of my good friends is going traveling at the end of next month and me and about 7/8 of his mates have thought about getting him something and thought about getting him a camera.. we're thinking of spending £10-15 each so somewhere between £120 and £150 to spend.. none of us really have great knowledge apart from the obvious. Does anyone have any ideas or links to give me? I'd be very grateful.

What phone has he got? If he has anything new, it's probably a good chance the camera on it will rival a £150 camera.

Yea, this. You could look for a good 2nd hand DSLR one but to be honest they do hold their price pretty well even used
