As no one else has started a thread, I might as well do so.

One question has this become a "oh well it happens game", so no one starts a thread, or is it " oh shit its that game" ?

my thoughts 1-1

Not sure about tonight. Last season was great and I'd love a repeat but we are still bedding in as a side. Predicting a narrow win, but hoping for a similar start to the Gillingham game where we actually take our chances.

I see the Franchise have sold fewer than 250 tickets. Anecdotal evidence that lots of our fans haven't been able to buy tickets due to issues with the new CRM ticket system suggests it will be a way off from a sell out.

MK only bought 250 fans to us last Tuesday, and its one of their closest away days with a bit of a rivalry over the past 7 or 8 years. Doesn't surprise me they're only bringing 250 to you, its pretty horrendous support!

Anyway, of course I hope Wimbledon beat them. They really aren't anything special this season.

For what it's worth, think we'll actually turn up this time, we didn't first time around, we have much more physicality about us this time round, but who knows, heart says 2-1 away win head says 1-1 .

As for your comments about the away travel Posh Hammer, you do realise the ridiculous restrictions put in place for tonights match ? Bubble match on a Friday night, I went to the first one, no intention of going again until the ridiculous restrictions on away travel are lifted for this match, let's consider the fact instead, the righteous ones can't control themselves, hence why we have to travel this way - doesn't work that way when they boycott our place though does it ?

You still only bought 250 to us, with no restrictions in place. No excuses, you're support is derisory.

*Your*
So tell me, what's your average home attendance again ? Now that's derisory for a club that's been around for so long.

Thanks grammar police. Do you enjoy being pedantic?

If so, make sure you don't leave spaces between a word and a question mark.

Ok, so we're having a willy waving contest about attendances now. Great. Firstly, your home attendance is clearly so much better than ours. An entire 0.3% more of the population of your 'city' turns up against ours. If you look at Milton Keynes as a borough, your average is less than ours.

Let's have a look at away games.

Your away support averages 355! :2thumb:

Our away support averages 1,036.

Anyway, back on subject. I hope you lose. Bye now.

It's not even worth getting into a discussion, it will just turn into an 'I hate MK' shitfest.

Well done on that away support, just shows more people want to get out of Peterborough :2thumb: So how many years has it taken to build up that fan base then?

You have the fan base you moron, they just don't want to travel away. Which is the exact point I was making in the first place.

You are completely contradicting yourself. Dick waving about having a better home attendance but then claiming because we've been around longer we have a better away following, despite having less home fans. You make zero sense.

Just want to add that good grammar is important and it's absolutely a valid reason to win or lose any argument.

Didn't realise that Wimbledon's side is almost entirely made up of ex-Millwall and Gillingham players.

They were quality against us first game of the season apart from Appiah. Hopefully they do well this season. I won't talk about the other team they played tonight apart from one word c***

Pretty good night all in all, we defended well, took our chances and the night mostly went off without too many problems. I won't even bother going into detail about some of the stuff thrown at coaches from their fans and other antics by them, nothing came of it and it was more funny than anything else.

On the away attendances. That's what happens when these ridiculous restrictions are put in place, and as for Posh away, £26 a ticket to stand on a wooden bench and to get told the stand is 'in danger of falling down' isn't really an enticing thought. Thank god for our stadium

Yes, because if the stand was in danger of falling down, Health and Safety would allow 2,000 odd people to sit there every week.

Thank God for your 3/4 empty soulless stadium in the middle of a retail park. What a treat that must be for you.

If there was a god, i doubt it would have anything to do with your laughable excuse for a 'franchise' football club. You're probably better off thanking the devil.

It's clearly not a rivalry if you take 250 fans there is it. £26 or not.

Tbf, MK Dons are a state without a nation. They still only really exist in the official, formal sense, and won't be a proper football club for a few more decades.

They will never be a football club. Thieves is more apt. Dirty club. And accepting them into the EFL says everything about the cowards who run our leagues. I've been to MK Dons stadium and I was bored rigid. My mate had his sandwich confiscated and another mate was refused entry because he was under the influence. My other mate was attacked in Frankie and Bennies by some delusional twit who couldn't even register Marcus Gayle and Robbie Earle.

We defended poorly but MK really are a shite team this season. I'm fully convinced we'll go down but I think you'll be along side us. Very one-sided game, shame we're fucking awful at shooting or doing anything creative.
