Oxalona too worried about playing 'nice' football and forget we are in the 3rd division in England?

Shall I?
... yes ok

That's why the 'best team in League Two' finished 13 points behind the champions.

Get off your high horse.

(Also well done Dons!)

Sorry where are you in the league.

Northampton too busy singing about us during their open top bus parade to accumulate any points this year?

Just to rewind a little bit, when was there an opportunity for Wimbledon fans to buy the club?

At a fans' forum pre-summer 2002 Koppel said they'd sell it for a pound right there and then if they could, then backed down when lots of fans dug into their pocket and held out a hand.

When the club went into administration the cost was considerably more than a pound. Don't forget there were two interested consortiums at that point, one headed by Koppel that was offering more to the creditors than the one headed by Winkelman, but Winkelman effectively torpedoed the Koppel one (to the harm of the creditors). But that was 2003–2004 era, by which time the club was effectively already Milton Keynes in all but name.

Don't know, didn't go to it.

Because fans from L2 clubs keep telling us we do.

I'm gonna laugh so hard when any of these L2 clubs get into the championship ahead of you. Not sure you're best placed to be mocking other clubs for being smaller or whatever, you've got a carpark for a fourth stand.

Ha Ha bitter? Not much. We play nice football when we need and bully the mentally and physically weak when required. Horses for courses!
Oxford fans are weird, they were fucked off when Rovers did them over last week as well because they were a bit more physical and it worked.

It's like Swindon were in 14/15, tippy tappy football can only get you so far before you get found out. The best teams in every division can match teams physically when they're not playing well also.

It's true, Bayern would probably be 18th in our league if they just tried to pass it around.

Do you get tired of spouting clichés or is there really just nothing else to do in Bristol?

For the avoidance of doubt, no Oxford fan anywhere is suggesting we are the best side in the division. You've made that up in your head.

To let the Cobbler in on a secret - even though I swear I've explained this before - we don't even believe that we were the best side in L2 last year either. We never did. It's just gotten so much mileage out of you all that it seemed worth pursuing.

Interesting that you've all insisted on making this about Oxford.

I said the best teams in every division, obviously referring to their respective leagues. Out of interest, how often do you watch Bayern Munich? I've watched them win ugly a few times, it's not always flamboyant quick passing football.

I didn't actually say you claimed that, I don't really care if you did, I was referring to Oxford fans having their piss boiled by teams being more physical against them and it bringing results.

Bunch of weirdos.

About as often as I comment on Bristol City. I've seen them twice live, you?

Why does it matter if they win ugly when I specifically referenced the idea of them just passing it round? I used them as an example of a team that can pass well, not a team that can't run or foul or whatever Bristol City do.

If Oxford dont consider themselves to be the best, and if you don't care if we did, why are you talking about the best teams in an analysis related to the shortcomings of Oxford? That's like me saying Matty Taylor doesn't score as many as Messi and expecting you to give a fuck.

Accountancy Age reported at the time that creditors were valued at £25m. Under the CVA, football creditors had to be paid in full, while HMRC and other non-football creditors were reported in the end to have had to settle for 30% of what they were owed.

If you know more details about the CVA, I'd be genuinely interested to see them.

Edit to add: I've done a bit more digging to refresh my memory. Koppel's consortium was worth £8.5m but failed when Winkelman said he'd only support it if his share in the project was upped from 25 to 51 per cent – the deal needed his agreement because he controlled the stadium site in MK, so with the consortium unable to meet his demands that deal collapsed. Winkelman's own consortium that he was putting together at the same time was worth £5m.

It's amazing how all the cloggers in this league are actually fantastically adaptable pinnacles of human evolution, with the same overweight thugs also capable of executing superb, flowing, passing football at the blink of an eye. Not one team of thugs have beaten us this year without the caveat that they can "play nice stuff if they want". It makes me wonder how OUFC are so deficient in only being able to play one way, yet demonstrably better than all of said teams (quick glance at a League table tells me that).

You support a bunch of hoof merchants and the sooner you take any comment that isn't a pat on the head on board, the sooner you will stop feeling the need to respond to someone when you know they're having you on.

Cloggers?????? Are you having a laugh?
Both Oxford and Wimbledon have identical disciplinary records for this season.
You're just a troll, and a bad troll at that.

Ahhh. You keep forgetting. Oxford were the best team in league 2 last season. Despite finishing a distant 2nd to champions Northampton.

Way to go on calling others trolls, champ.

Dry your eyes buttercup. It's embarrassing that you're still crying over 2 defeats to us this season.

You're comment regarding 'cloggers' was quite frankly embarrassing. You should check your facts before posting.

Dry my eyes? You made three posts in a few seconds crying about how Wimbledon have been unfairly criticised by strangers on the Internet and you're still going into the early hours of the morning. Not to mention that I was calling you out on blatant trolling and not talking about the only two victories you've ever recorded against us in your entire history.

I can assure you that my opinions on your team full of Cloggy McCloggersons isn't affected one bit by how many fouls they get away with. Wimbledon fans seem to revel in the Crazy gang, Vinnie Jones type reputation and are very happy to tell you to 'dry your eyes' or that they'll 'bully the mentally weak' (on the pitch). Why they get so precious when someone else is saying it I have no idea. The hypocrisy is embarrassing.

Not really sure how you can refer to Wimbledon as a bunch of cloggers, when Oxford's disciplinary record is identical.
Maybe get your own house in order before criticising others.

Bit like your continued whining about how the nasty big London boys roughed up your previous little cherubs.

Wind your neck in, dry your eyes and stop your crying.
