Anyone watching this out of curiosity or in hope that Stevenage, in their hideous kits, that beat Salford and steal the show? The Class of 92 aren't even gonna be there (other committments). Obviously with Man U due to play AC Milan tomorrow, the Salford fans will have other priorities but I'm sure the Stevenage fan will be interested.

Big Blow for Sky - The Class of Nerdy2 will not be there, they may as well pack the cameras up and go to Rochdale instead...............

Ugh, how many of their games have Sky picked to gush over?

Just wanted to make sure there were no matches without threads, because we know that the grimsby fans like to see an individual thread for each game

Are there any Salford fans on here?

And are all Salford fans Man United fans?

And shoddy why have you put the wrong kick off time? Are you in Spain? Or do you think only the second half will be worth watching?

I really dislike Stevenage for various reasons, so come on Salford.

Nobody likes Stevenage and the fact they are in L2 but atleast they are only a level above where they should be, whereas Salford should be several steps down.

Chris Eubank agrees with this statement.

I dislike Stevenage and the way they play immensely but $al£ord are an embarrassing joke.

Chris Eubank is hoping for an absolutely stupendous Stevenage victory.

I appreciate the agreement Mr. Sheriff - btw Frank Warren thinks it's ridiculous Chris Eubank is a sheriff.

Chwith Eubank ith hoping for an abtholutely thtupendouth thtevenage victowy.

fixed that for ya

Watching the only noticable trickle down of Premiership money in League Two now. It's sickening the amount of fawning over Salford from the media. Getting totally suckered in by the narrative of this being some kind of fairytale, can't wait for Satanage to ruin Sky Sports' big day in that condiment-stained monstrosity they wear.

At least Rob Palmer pointed out the irony of Salford coming out to 'Dirty Old Town' in one of the most affluent parts of Greater Manchester.

Rob Palmer commending $al£ord for trying to 'build a fanbase' with their ticket prices (tenner for an adult).

Change 'build' to 'buy'* and he'd be right.

*more realistically, loan off ManYoo

Other than Towell I don’t think they look anything special to be honest. Obviously they might add a few more and will probably win this game but I don’t see them as promotion favourites like the bookies do

Most fans don’t either so that opinion is nothing revolutionary to be fair mate.

I could understand that view at the start of the summer when we had a whole transfer window ahead of us and there was a lot of expectation that $al£ford would simply blow everyone else out of the water, but they haven't done that so the hype has died down a lot.

FUCK!

You’d think it was a friendly the noise they made after that goal

The standard of this game is giving me sporadic flashes of optimism that we can stay up.

Just turned over to Stockport vs Maidenhead and I am enjoying it considerably more.

Stevenage have been utter shite. Hopefully this will lure Salford into a false sense of security of it being easy and not needing to further strengthen.

Salford look average, Stevenage are looking poor today, not even their usual defensive solidness.
