Jesus Christ what a haul for KC. Waddle and Tyreek at WR is going to be a big problem. The AFC is just ridiculous. I’m thinking right now if I was BB and Kraft I’d be looking to trade the Pats to the NFC.

Man, the Dolphins love a shit trade. Looking forward to Hill & Waddle streaking down the field and Tua’s slow-release noodle arm throwing picks for fun,

Going to be interesting in the NFC. Real three-way fight between the North, South and (reigning champions) East for the red-headed stepchild of the NFL. Think the South could be on for it this year what with the abject paucity of QBs in that division.

I think my money would be on the South too. Basically Tampa already have that division won as the Panthers have Darnold (I have to imagine they're going to reach and take Malik Willis in the draft), Falcons have erm anyway moving on and well with the Saints you can tell Payton saw the writing on the wall. The other divisions like the north I can see the Vikings being competitive enough with Green Bay at least.

The Rams have a lot to answer for with their whole building a super-team last season. Now the majority of the AFC are at it. Does show how easily things like the cap can be manipulated though.

An interesting move think the picks are an over pay but Phins get an elite receiver and Tua I feel has no excuses this year but it will be interesting to see what KC does having lost big piece on Offense and none of there other Wide outs look like a No1 guy. But honestly the Afc looks like an arms race this Off season given how many big name trades there has been already.

I’d agree with that. This is the year you find out about Tua. They also strengthened the O-Line signing Armstead. Add in Gesicki at TE there’s no excuses for him. Generally end of the third year is where you want to be deciding on if he is going to be the guy moving forward. Guess the Fins still have two first rounders for 2023 so could use it on a QB then when it stands to have some good options coming out.

KC will be a tough out because of Mahomes but that Offence will not be able to do what they used to be able to.

The ‘desperation reach race’ for Willis will be a fun plot line in the draft if he gets past #2. If he’s ‘The Guy’ for Holmes & Campbell in Detroit it makes a ton of sense because they can sit him behind Goff for a year or two. At any of the other QB-needy clubs where he’d be expected to start… yikes. Hoping one of Atlanta/Seattle/Carolina gets twitchy and trades up to #2 to get him tbh (full disclosure: I’m a Lions fan).

No-one will get remotely close to GB in the North, though because the Lions, Bears & Vikes play each other twice + the NFC East there will be a few padded records. Pretty much why I like the South for worst division.

Rest in peace Haskins, man. Seemed like he'd pissed it all up the wall at Washington but had heard he was working hard at Pittsburgh to give himself another chance. And like Tomlin wouldn't be suffering him if he was being a fool, surely? Either way, whether on a redemption arc or not, 24 is no age. No age at all. And the reports of what's actually happened. Ran out of petrol and hit by a bin lorry after getting out his car. Just tragic.

Yep desperately sad news. It speaks very poorly of the American media that one of the first things that was mentioned of him was his struggles in the pro game. As if that is of any concern right now to his family who will have been affected by this news. Extremely sad and as you say that is no age.

1st Round of the draft today who does everyone want with the Bills picking near the end of the draft I think it will be dependent who is available personally I am hoping for Corner or interior O-Line seen recently Running back mocked to us not really super high on drafting a Running Back in the 1st.

Almost impossible to predict as this is the first draft in a long time I don’t think there’s even close to a consensus #1 or even say a top 15. I think this indicates to me the smart option is move back but if everyone is looking to do that then clearly that suppresses any value there.

Also not helpful this is a very average draft for QB’s. The likes of Carolina need a QB but to use #6 on Malik Willis is a huge reach.

We need speed on defense both at LB and Corner especially seeing what is to come in our division. Can get a decent WR in the middle rounds such as John Metchie. I would love Olave or Jameson Williams but they will both be gone by our pick and BB is not moving up.

Yeah there is a ton of question on what order they go personally I think Hutchinson is consensus No1 but it looks like Jags are going Walker the one prospect who concerns me is Drake London his lack of separation is a major red flag for me especially as he could well be a top 10 pick.

Yeah for me in terms of receivers I’m looking at Garrett Wilson and Jameson Williams as the standouts. The latter would be top 10 nailed on if he hadn’t done his Achilles.

Hutchinson is one of the names you see floated round and before that it was Thibodeaux but he his stock seems to be trending downwards the closer to the draft we get. Walker is one of those who you think would be good but not a franchise changer which you are looking for at #1. Good thing with this draft is the depth of it so expect the sweet spot to be the third and fourth rounds.

We’ll see how it plays out but I think this is going to come back and haunt the Jags. Sometimes you just have to keep it simple and go BPA which is Hutchinson. You can tell by the way Detroit got their pick in seconds after being on the clock.

Yeah thats my feeling Walker has high measurables but I feel no1 pick you go for the sure thing and that is Hutchinson.

Stingley first Corner off the board is interesting thought it would be Sauce but this does seem to be going for the guy with the higher ceiling.

Interesting pick by the Texans. Don’t get me wrong I like Stingley but I’d have thought say Evan Neal or someone like that to protect Davis Mills would have been the way to go.

Thought Sauce Gardner would be the first DB to go too.

Sauce Gardner to the Jets. Continues their team building method of building it from the outside to in.

The one I’m curious on is Carolina. If there’s no market to trade down from 6 and they are in need of a QB it’s a tough spot.

No defensive player in the top five. Wow, I’ve never seen that before.

Going to be some great offensive talent pushed down the order.

Think I would of gone edge with Thibodeaux if I was the Jets and then he goes to the Giants in the next pick.

Carolina will be a really interesting pick QB maybe?

I think they have to go for Neal or Ekwonu and bolster that O-Line or at least that’s what I would do.

Better value if were to then look at a day 2 pick on Ridder or someone like that at QB.

And the pick is Ekwonu and yeah Ridder does look like a good day 2 pick for them it will be interesting how far we go down the draft before the first QB is off the board.

It’s tough to say. My guess is you’re looking down to one of the Saints picks or Steelers for a QB. Seeing some receivers getting pushed down so far, my guess is the Jets will take one like Garrett Wilson.

Drake London 1st WR off the board don't like the pick if I am honest struggles to separate feel he could struggle in the NFL.

Yeah when they were doing his highlights package after the pick it was very telling almost all of them were jump balls which pretty much backs up what you say. We’ve tried that before with N’Keal Harry and that hasn’t exactly been a success.
