kieran_vale seeing the Pats at LV right now reminded me you were going over and hoping this would line up with your trip. Has it? Or have you been and come back already? Did you get to another game if so?

Was there end of September early October mate so unfortunately (or maybe not given the result) didn’t coincide with this game. Did look at going to the game with the Steelers as they were out there but the tickets were something ridiculous so went to see the NHL team and the Canelo fight instead the weekend after.

Just another backbreaking loss. 1-5 but for all intents and purposes given our next two games are the Bills and Fins make that 1-7. I feel for Mac he has been hung out to dry with the rest of this roster, the right tackle is a complete turnstile and when he laid a beautiful ball to Parker to get us close to FG range the clown goes and drops it. BB will and should see the year out but then I’m afraid it’s time.

Still sounds bloody awesome. Seeing an all-time great boxer fight. Hockey is a fun night too. Been to a few Nottingham Panthers games before, and obviously that's comparable in quality to an actual NHL game

Lol, Jalen Hurts just thrown that potential game losing interception. Is it bad I've kinda been rooting for the Jets to win tonight? I know I shouldn't as a Bill but I'm finding Philly a bit annoying these days.

On this, yeah. As legendary as a coach is it can always go stale if they stay too long after the glory years. Or maybe the game evolves and they haven't.

Summat I remember with my family all being Forest fans is Brian Clough's last season there was fuckin awful and they got relegated from the Prem. Sad to see but time to move on, refresh and modernise. Sounds similar to what the Pats are going through now.

It can be argued (and I probably in the cold light of day will think the same) this is probably not the best thing winning this game but fuck me that was pretty incredible. So happy for Mac to get a legit game winning drive like that, I hope that gives him the confidence he needs.

Truth be told the Bills didn’t really start playing until the 4th quarter and against a better team would never have been in position to win. They look a team based on the last few games like one who need the bye week.

Congrats to the Patriots on the win but the Offense is worrying me a lot it seems to be taking a lot to generate anything offensively and I do question whether Dorsey is the guy.

Never underestimate the Buffalo Bills ability to play down to their opponents level and be generally wank.

It does make you wonder what the Bills coaching staff are doing in the week as they seemed almost taken aback at the Pats intensity at the start of the game. As you say it’s becoming too much of a pattern just to be a bad day at the office. Think the real winner from today is the Fins.

Thinking about it while I took my dog round the block... like there's always at least one team that regresses from previous seasons and that nobody expected them to. Good chance that's us this year. Last three seasons we've been 13-3, 11-6, 13-6 again. Terrific tbh.. I wouldn't be surprised if we're like 10-7 or 9-8 this season though.

I won't be finding Philly annoying tonight if they win. C'mon lads.

This Pats team is utterly pathetic. Really embarrassing performance to lose to Washington (a team it’s worth noting traded their two best defensive players before the deadline). I would say tank the rest of the season but I don’t think we need to tank to lose. The good people of Germany are getting very much the other end of the spectrum with us and Indy next week after having KC and the Fins today.

U43.5 next week I think will be going on the acca.

I genuinely do like Mac but he’s the first QB I’ve seen consistently roll out on play-action pointing down field and then throwing a 3 yard check down.

The only bright spot for me was this German crowd who were phenomenal given the shit sandwich served up on the field. They deserved better.

I think today feels like the end of both the Mac Jones and Belichick era. So much wrong here that the whole thing needs blowing up. Macs final INT when it was a layup TD was just the sign of a kid that has been broken by this organisation and BB putting in Zappe on the final drive was inexcusable. Just have to see what they’ve done to Kraft

If I could sum up the 2023 Patriots in one play it would be this idiotic decision to not leave anybody back on a punt causing Indy to flip the field a further 20 yards. Could also add Mac running into Zeke on a simple handoff but YMMV. Either way not good.

As you said in your other post, benching Mac for the last drive is very odd. Not doing anything for his confidence when BB is doing that, is it?

Nope but there’s a lot of things he’s done to ruin him in the last couple of years. Granted his last INT was horrible but Zappe on that ridiculous fake spike and throw into a team meeting was not much better. Building quite the catalogue of comedy moments in games going back to the Raiders lateral attempt last year. Mac looks shot mentally, personally I think he needs shutting down for the year to work on some serious technical flaws like his throwing off the back foot.

Think tonight Buffalo need to win this. Not leaving themselves much margin for error if they don’t especially with the rise of Houston and CJ Stroud who I have to say looks the real deal albeit early in his career.

Don't see the Playoffs as realistic for us If I am honest there is major problems with this offense starting with the OC and there seems to be a lack of receiving talent outside of Diggs.

Yeah I think the pathway now just looking at the remaining schedule makes it very tough. There’s one guaranteed win (us) and one probable (Jets). Other than that it looks a nightmare to be honest. I think the coaching staff needs a reboot in Buffalo. Wouldn’t surprise me if you miss the playoffs that you join us in maybe looking for a new HC, obviously Dorsey isn’t the answer at OC as well.

Dorsey gone. They had to do it really. Not sure how much the interim guy can do from here until the end of the season but I'd rather that unknown than the boredom of drifting along under Dorsey.

Been a few times this season where they've looked awful all game following Dorsey's play calling but then march down the field when they need a quick TD at the end and go no huddle, hurry up style, which maybe tells you summat. Unfortunately against the Pats and last night against Denver the D then gave up more points and they lost anyway...

I do believe the coaching is the issue with the Bills overall rather than the players. That roster shouldn't be 5-5 IMO.

Last night kinda summed it all up. That 12 men on the field penalty was a shit was to lose the game but if they didn't do that, Denver missing the original FG would have been a shit way for us to win the game too. Just shit all round really. :ohn:

A lot better from the Bills who looked a lot more in sync on Offense but the difficult run starts now against Eagles, Chiefs and Cowboys On the Jets if they had even a semi functioning Offense they could be really dangerous

Seems to be all the rage now teams moving on from OC’s as even the Steelers followed suit. Truth be told Canada has been a horrible play caller for them and from what I’ve seen of them this season if ever there was a case of a teams record flattering them it was this.

Jets moved off Wilson at last. To a degree I feel for him as if this was an even partially intelligent organisation they’d have brought in a decent backup to Rodgers. At his age and he’s been injured before they brought this on themselves. Not really helped themselves either with Hackett as their OC just because he’s mates with Rodgers. It’s a damning indictment of him how Denver looks now he’s gone with largely the same personnel.

This Jets offense utterly stinks and this time can’t blame Zach Wilson. Never seen a pick 6 off a Hail Mary either like that one end of the half. Maybe not quite as bad as the Pats lateral in Vegas last year but in the conversation. The only thing keeping Hackett employed right now is the Jets being scared of upsetting Rodgers.

Well that was annoying really should of beaten the Eagles some small errors cost us big and it did not help that the Refs made some major errors the no call on the horse collar being the biggest one to me it seems less likely that the playoffs are going to happen this year as we could lose the next two games after the bye being Chiefs and Cowboys

I'm glad you picked them up as well mate
Had to happen after my brag didn't it FFS

First time this season they've dropped points

Had them averaging 16 pts to 22 per matchup some matchups they've been a huge factor in my wins

Bad week to play you mate all my star RB are in bye week I've accepted defeat

Can we go 3 for 3 championship final though? Last year I won was a bit anti climax due to your game being called off
