Repeat of last years final in our fantos.

Yes and KevinMcallister is nailed on to beat me after I said this before:

af.PNG

TBF Kev that was based on you drafting CMC, Zeke and Saquon and me thinking they were all kinda past their best or too injury prone to be spending so much draft capital on them. But having just checked their stats for the season they've done well.

From my side, feel I've just been eking out wins in close games recently and losing Kupp was a raight blow mid-season and to a lesser extend Deebo the other week. Which is ironic given what I thought about when you drafted CMC and Saquon in particular. :shut:

On Tua, think he must have been suffering the effects of his latest concussion when he threw three picks to end that game. He's been very accurate for much of the season. Watching those throws again with the benefit of hindsight, he didn't look right.

Some pundits saying he should consider walking away from the game too. Three concussions in a season ain't great and I think you're more susceptible to them in the future the more you have. And seems to get them easily. Prone to banging his head off the turf on normal looking sacks etc.

Yeah didn't have the best season scraped playoffs every so often I get huge games out if the patriots defence and kirk cousins which has been key

Hopefully as close as last seasons final where I lost by .48 points I think haha

Goodluck

Also how decent has taysom hill been as a fantasy TE haha

Yeah good luck to you too mate.

Since I posted about losing Kupp and Deebo I also lost Pollard for last night's game and he has been mega for me too. 6th best RB in fantasy. :err: So I'm glad you didn't put Zeke in.

Think Lamb and Maher getting you 19 points was about average. Could have been better for you but could have been a lot worse for me too.

Also think it's a bit weird they list Taysom as a TE, yeah. Obvs he plays all over the place but reckon I'd have had him categorised as a QB really, and even an RB before a TE.

We have possibly one of the worst offenses ever seen with Patricia but somehow we are one win in Buffalo from a playoff spot. We have very little chance at winning there but even so it’s ridiculous this is even a conversation.

The rest of the Afc East could be contending for the final wildcard spot if Jets can win against Seahawks which would likely make it a win and in situation Vs the Fish who have had an impressive late season collapse after Week 12 they was 8-3.

This is looking close as hell KevinMcallister and that Kittle TD that just happened as I type has helped me massively but whatever happens, after the 6pm games you've left too many points on the bench man. More on there than what you've scored!

Feel you'd have won already with them.

edit: and a Kirk pick 6 :bl:

Either that or I suspect it’s more of a bad reflection on future Jet Derek Carr. Nice to have a competent person calling offensive plays and a WR1 like Adams.

I think Carr going to the Jets would be bad for us both really mate. I know he ain't top 5 but he might/should be enough of an upgrade to make them good what with the rest of their roster.

Didn’t see it but absolutely horrifying to hear what happened with Hamlin. Just hope he is going to be ok.

Saw Skip Bayless did himself no favours tweeting about playoff implications after this. Sometimes it’s better just to say nothing and that was one such occasion.

Can't believe Hamlin seems to be okay. It never occurred to me at the time when they said they were administering CPR but... when people say 'he almost died on the field'... no, if they're doing CPR then he did actually die out there.

In other, far less important news, it appears I got fucked out of the fantos Superbowl then. Which obviously doesn't matter at all, but is still annoying after going through the whole season :err:

Congratulations Kev.

Time for redemption though! I've set up a league for us on this playoffs prediction comp thing.

Good to see he’s getting better.

Not exactly the ideal start to the game for us allowing a return back. Achord as ST Co-Ordinator is another who needs to lose his job, it’s been a disaster all season. Mac done alright so far, be nice if his LT would consider maybe blocking for him though.

Yeah awful way to win it feels undeserved tbh I felt Burrow would have won it for you by a fraction

This god-awful season for us is finally over. Proud of Mac’s performance, he showed up to play. Just a shame our special teams didn’t. Allowing 2 kickoff returns is utterly pathetic.

Hopefully BB tells Patricia, Judge and Cam Achord to not bother jumping on the plane home.

Good luck in the playoffs Stagat and pride_of_notts

Not used to special teams making such big plays but Hines is ridiculously fast Allen generally put on a clinic generally barring the one dumb interception but he threw some absolute dimes especially the Brown and Diggs touchdowns

The Playoffs should be really good starting with the Fish don't really know how we will go on as I feel there is major flaws with us in particular the O-line.

Also the Bears getting the No1 pick is interesting and what they do with it a trade down might be the most obvious answer given they have Fields.

The trade down has to be the one. Incidentally the team the Texans beat the Colts at number 5 have to be a prime candidate to make the trade with. Just imagine Texans fans were all screaming ‘what the hell are you doing?’ when Mills made the 2pt throw to win it but why should him and Lovie Smith care about Young or Stroud if they’re gone. Texans better hope falling out of the 1 spot doesn’t end up for them like it did the Jets and Zach Wilson.

Reckon the Cards and Texans will definitely be looking for new coaches after Black Monday. You would have been able to add the Raiders but don’t think Davis can afford to fire McDaniels. Have seen suggestions that McVay might step away from the Rams, could see Sean Payton going in there if so.

I was watching the game live and what happened before the Hamlin awfulness had me confident. Burrow was torching us and I had James Cook who gashed them a couple of times on our one drive too. I felt like the Bengals were gonna win that game but I had a good shot of winning our game.

TBH though I won it last year and finished top of the table this year and made the final so nowt to complain about really. Take your win man, and congrats again.

Thanks Kieran mate, you're a good man :) ( was gonna say 'for a Pats fan' but f that, you're a good man full stop)

Loved that Brown TD in particular, a lot more than if Beasley had got one after coming back. Loved that they broke out the dance again too :woot:

Trade down would be the obvious one but you only have to look at the Cards they moved on quickly from a highly drafted QB but then it depends how far the Bears are willing to move down especially being in the position to get the best Pass rusher in Anderson.

Yeah that was great especially Allen telling Brown to go deep but still liked Diggs more throwing it 60+ air yards was awesome

A quick reminder about this playoff prediction comp. We have double figure entrants already. Two is a double figure, right? :ohn:

Joined up mate. Getting far too used to being nothing more than a bystander in the post-season. Not sure I like this new era so much.

Can’t see past the Niners going all the way, just look the best all round team.

Nice one mate.

Yeah I chucked a spare tenner I had in a bookie account on the 49ers to win it all after the game last night. Them against the Eagles in the NFCCG would be immense if they both get there.

On the Bills, I don't see us winning it unfortunately. Won a lot of games of course but haven't played well enough for most of the season to inspire in me the confidence that we can beat the Bengals, Chiefs, and probably the 49ers in three straight games.

Should get past Miami though!

edit to add: I'd fear for us more against the Bengals than I would the Chiefs right now too despite the latter being the #1 seed. I know what it looks like for the Bills to beat KC and I can see Burrow and his WRs just torching us tbh. Think we'd need a stellar offensive performance to keep up with them.

That was somewhat fortunate for Buffalo but in the playoffs just get the win. I’d be concerned about that Defense based on this week and last against the Pats for that matter. Few turnovers but I’m not putting any of them on Allen. Miami also could do with maybe some basic understanding of what the term play clock means as well…

As it happens I think it’s more playing down to the competition so if they end up with Cincy will be fine.

Way to close some really bad drops in the 1st half and the O-Line for me is a major issue which has to be first priority in the Off season but it's onto either the Jags or Bengals

I would strongly recommend that last night should be the final game for Tom Brady. He hasn’t got it any more and was really just a sitting duck for Dallas. I hope he does that as I hate to think he could tarnish his legacy by hanging on too long. Under no illusion though that he will probably be a Raider next season. Be a huge mistake behind that O-Line. Only bigger mistake would be a return to the AFCE with the Fins, the front sevens of the rest of the division would annihilate him.

Bills coming over for the London game really excited will be interesting to see who the opponent is but I get the feeling tickets are going to be really difficult for this one to get a hold of.

I made a kinda half-assed attempt to get tickets for a game this season. Wasn't really fussed about any of them but had said I'd go with my bro and Craig if we could get tickets.

Next season though I'm gonna be the wanker logging on to the site hours before they go on sale etc.
