Nothing I've seen this first quarter has made me question my belief we lose this one. Just not got anything going at all. Already lost Vollmer for the game and likely the season given how the Pats have already ruled him out. Looks like another going to IR.
Only one bright thing is Fitz has been very off. His receivers are getting very open though so matter of time you would think before they connect.
Pittsburgh just turn to shite whenever they play Baltimore, if the Jets, Chiefs and Broncos win this week and they balls it up they're in huge trouble.
Logan Ryan getting seriously picked on by Brandon Marshall now. No shame in that as he's a great receiver and had an excellent year. That said I do wonder if not having Safety help in McCourty today is really exposing him.
What happened to schedule flexing this year? I haven't heard about any games being flexed for Sunday Night Football this season and Giants vs Vikings is an absolutely hideous game to have in prime-time on the penultimate week of the regular season. Couldn't they have flexed in Packers vs Cardinals or Patriots vs Jets?
Even at the start of the season Giants vs Vikings was a stinker on paper.
Ravens up 2 scores on the Steelers. Some impressive throws from Mallet on that scoring drive. Hopefully he will eventually go on to show his undoubted talent. Just needs to combine that with better work ethic.
Bengals-Broncos is a huge game tomorrow now with huge implications for the entire playoff pack now!
Bengals win - They get a bye and still have a shot at #1 in the AFC, Dalton gets an extra week to recover before their inevitable Divisional loss, Houston wins the AFC South on strength of schedule, Chiefs lead the AFC West, Denver will end up facing a win and in next week, Jets know a win and in is good for them and the Steelers will be praying for Denver and/or Jets losses in Week 17 so long as they win.
Broncos win - They still have a shot at #1 in the AFC, they clinch a playoff place and should win the AFC West in theory, Pittsburgh will be praying for a Jets loss in Buffalo next week, the AFC South title goes down to the wire and the Bengals will be praying the Jets don't mess it up because I think their fanbase will be driven to insanity if the Steelers get the #6 seed and turn up at Paul Brown Stadium in two weeks time.
Denver only get to #1 in AFC if they win out and we lose at Miami in week 17 as the tiebreaker they hold over us would come in to play then.
If I was them though I'd worry about winning the division. KC are looking really good and are on a roll and Denver at the moment are extremely reliant on their D. If they lose to Cincy I think they may well miss out.
