Good to see for tonight's game there will be no repeat of last years colour blind bowl with the uniforms. That was hard to watch and not just because it was watching the Jets and Bills try and play football.

Either way hopefully both teams can find a way they both lose somehow then all is good.

This is hilariously one sided. The Bills did well on that first drive, but since then their defence has been awful. Jets rolling over them with ease.

You do have to wonder at this rate if Rex even sees out the season. His record as a coach since he took the Jets to those back to back AFC Championships is very ordinary. Always sort of wrote it off in New York as he was not helped by some extremely poor GM's in Tannenbaum and Idzik but he has not had that excuse in Buffalo. There is no reason with some of the talents they possess on both sides of the ball they should look so unprepared to play.

I actually do not know how Fisher gets away with it, I'd say its almost admirable in some way. Maybe all is not lost for Rex on this basis.

I still think Fisher gets away with it because he's had a long, long string of really bad QBs, and the best one he's had at the Rams was injured half the time (if not more). For all the talk about him the last couple of years, I still think it's a valid point. And here they are, drafting Goff who isn't deemed good enough as a backup QB in week 1. Not saying he's blameless or shouldn't be doing better mind.

Ryan's got less excuses though. I'd argue Marrone did more with less - 9 wins in his last season iirc with no decent QB, RB or o-line.

Fisher gets away with it because he is the living embodiment of THE SHIELD.

Staid, steady, solid, great guy, high character, does things the right way, discipline, company man, no gimmicks, instructional video on how to line up for the anthem, never go for it on 4th down, take it one week at a time, toughness, favourite food steak, you can't measure heart, missionary position only, precisely two trick plays per season, tried the wildcat once but didn't like it, firm handshake, keep grinding.

Fail whilst cleaving to NFL orthodoxy and steadfastly refusing to rock the boat and you will have a job for life in this league.

Well Stagat the Bills have fired the offensive co-ordinator. You can't help thinking that after a day when they gave up 37 points it's somewhat a case of ignoring the elephant in the room.

Amazing how he has ruined what was one of if not the best D's in the NFL under Jim Schwartz given that side of the ball is his forte.

Looking forward to game day two tomorrow but I'm none to thrilled with Sky showing the Rams Seahawks game live, I think having that Rams team on once a year could be more than enough for my liking although the Steelers bengals game will be good.
