Tannehill really is junk. He's got to know he can't hold onto that for so long.

Yep, if I remember rightly when he was coming out the draft he was at best described a "project". I know he's been through some different co-ordinators in that time but I genuinely don't see much of a tangible improvement on his rookie season. Sad thing for the Fins is the paucity of quality QB's around they are locked in with him on that contract they gave him now.

Edit - And that's two times in succession he could have been picked off.

Admittedly I am/was not an entirely objective observer but he really wasn't that impressive in college either.

Essentially a one year starter who struggled for playing time up against the mighty Jerrod Johnson before that, had the benefit of playing behind 2 future top 10 pick tackles, and was less than impressive any time he ran into a defense with a pulse.

Archetypal example of a guy who finishes the college season looking like he'd be worth a punt in the 3rd round, but emerges the other side of draft-mania as a coveted top 10 pick cos NFL group think is in love with big arm/well built/team captain/carries himself the right way etc....

AJ Green.

Best receiver in the NFL.

Please do not bother replying to this anyone because I am not willing to entertain counter-arguments. The fact he's even in the discussion with Andy fucking Dalton as his QB is astounding in itself.

Pathetic from Texas. Never imagined Charlie Strong getting fired for his defence, but this is a shambles. And the special teams are a space shuttle disaster. Not good.

On a brighter note the Michigan D is extremely good and for the first time in a long time the best player in college ball is playing for the Wolverines.

Anyone heading to the game today? Up in the gods, but looking forward to my first live football game.

If they piss this away Gus Bradley might not survive the flight home with his employment intact.

Enjoyed today's game but yeah as Carel says the Colts are garbage. Amazes me before every season they have the same flaws as always and yet people still tip them to do well.

As for the Pats, not very good half and we'll most likely lose this but am not too fussed. After today TFB is free again. Just hope for no injuries today.

Colts aren't a good team but up until last season theyd gotten to the playoffs each year with Luck.

Shoulda kept Dak another week
I'm content. Was happy to get a 3rd RB I was in dire need of, besides Hoyer is doing OK so far... famous last words...

Fucking abysmal, utter junk today, why can't this team have both sides of the ball play well in the same game???!!!??? Bears are awful as well, two turds of teams on show today, now hope the Lions junk the season and go for a top 3 draft pick - so hoping Peppers declares and doesn't have to move house.
So the D, well, just like week 2, good, did their job, played well and in Kerry Hyder a gem has been uncovered, at the final whistle tied with Von Miller for most sacks on the season.
Shame the O didn't show up, AT ALL. Hideous play calling, back to the horrible 'everyone thinks we're just going to throw it deep so we'll just run up the middle CONTINUALLY'. What I have liked most about Cooter as OC is he has played to Stafford's strengths, today, didn't bother.
Matt Prater and special teams scored the points today, against the BEARS! fuck off Lions, completely done with this season already, Caldwell can do one as well. The guy is quite clearly a fantastic OC, 2 rings with 2 different teams as OC, he can't HC though.

Seemed pretty high up to me!

You get a better view higher up though. My seat is bang in line with the plane line in the endzone so that's quite nice.

I liked being sat high up. Can't see what's going in the trenches, or get too much sense of the physicality of it all, but gives you that All 22 type view that you seldom get on TV. Different.

Also taught me a lot of respect for the main camera men who are hardly ever fooled by play action in real time, when I was about 50% of the time...

We dem boys.

No Dez, No Tony, No problemo it seems, didn't catch much NFL action this weekend but I did manage to see the final five minutes of the Tennessee - Georgia game which is well worth a watch for those that didn't catch it, if only for the crowd reaction.

Got pointed to this by a mate. Penn States 270 pound kicker flattening the returner.

I had to read that twice to make sure I'd typed it properly.
