Anfield- Liverpool FC Ground Guide

I warn you in advance...this wont be completely impartial...

How Easy Was The Ground to Get To (from the station, by car, etc)

See the Goodison entry! Given the grounds are only about a mile apart, its all the same!

Based on Where You Were Sat, How Was the View?
The away end is poor. Very shallow, and there are a good 10-12 rows at the back that are under the overhang so obscured by that. Considering its Derby day every time Ive been, obviously the whole end is stood up, can barely see a thing. First time I went actually, I couldnt see either goal! The block nearest the Main Stand too goes way beyond the corner flag, so has some awful views too. Considering its over £50 for a ticket there now, disgraceful. Nice to see they are kindly redeveloping the Main Stand to improve it in line with the Centenary and Kop...but leaving the Anfield Road as it is for now...cheers...

How Were The Stewards on The Day?
Never a problem with them. Other than its the only ground Ive been to that breaches the rules about stewards only being allowed to search people of the same sex...

If You Ate at The Ground, How Would You Rate the Food?
Never ate in the ground.

How Was The Atmosphere At The Ground, From Both Sets of Supporters? Does the Stadium Hold the Noise?
Oh the famous Anfield Atmosphere! (Copyright Sky Sports, ITV) Considering I have only ever been to Anfield for Derby games when it should be at least close to it's best (and the fact they're usually beating us...) it's poor. Too many tourists and day trippers there to see the atmosphere, rather than actually contributing to it.

How Are the Pubs and Local Attractions in The Local Area?
See Goodison. When we play them, Everton fans tend to stick near Goodison before walking across the park.

Overall Score Out of 10?
We're in the worst area of the ground and paying £50+ for the privilege. Atmosphere nothing like it's reputation, and tired looking these days. That opinion may change once the redevelopment of the Main Stand is finished.
6/10
