The Imps have release their annual accounts which can be viewed https://www.weareimps.com/news/2022/january/imps-release-accounts/

Nice and transparent with the headline figure of a £1.4m loss for the year ending June 2021.

Show's we didn't get an upfront fee for Jorge Grant who left for Posh, thought there'd be a minimal upfront fee but presume there's various add-ons. Club will have got the best deal possible, Posh taking advantage of the release clause for the contract Jorge signed in December/January 21. Doesn't include the fee we got for Tayo Edun.

In general, hats off to our board, they run us well, transparent and any investment is via shares so no debt etc.

Going to be tough times for a lot of clubs, how are your accounts?

What's noticeable from that is we continue to invest heavily in infrastructure every season, whether that's at SB (new pitch, new 4G pitch, digital advertising boards, toilets etc), the EPC (new pitches and adding bits and pieces), the Academy, Club Shops etc etc.

Edun's down as a gross Club record, but not sure what that'll be?

No accounts for us due to being in admin but we raised about 10m above the normal outgoings as we had to pay bills due upto 2023 in advance. So we would have had a profit of around 10m or so. With a lot of money left over, gives us plenty of room to manouvere this season.

No, the 10m will show as a profit now if you are paying advance invoices, they will be sat in other debtors mate.

Make it easy for you.......If you had £5 and pies were £1 each and you asked for 6 you would be a pie in debt !

I don’t know if this will work, trying to paste link for our accounts for 20/21 out in Oct https://www.pafc.co.uk/news/2021-financial-statements-submitted

Small profit of £376k. But, and it is a big, this was largely due to a £2 million insurance payout. Kieran Maguire from the Price of Football says very positive things about the transparency of our accounts.

I know this season break even requires 11,500 per game (which I thought was blooming high, challenging and ambitious) yet we are averaging over a thousand more than this. Had we not lost two Xmas sell outs it would have been even more.

Sorry didn't explain it as well as I could have. Due to the EFL withholding transfer fees due and other money then the accounts for the last 2 years are a but messy and dont get released.

What this meant was we received 8m+ in transfer money this summer, 4m we should have got 12 months ago. Obviously at this point being debt free, owing nothing going forward and have 4 players on the books and a wage bill of around 1m at the start of the summer, we also got 2m+ from TV around the same from season tickets then sponsorship on top. This left us with 10m.plus in the club accounts. Meaning we have enough money in the bank to not put a penny of debt on the club this season.

Helped further by sell on fees adding more money. We probably had 12-15m in the bank spend this season. Reckon the wage bill is about 7m, which is good.
