My friend, most of it was just a lot of (random) words which didn't really make sense on the whole.
Shame, I thought you was up for a proper debate rather than talking bullocks. Never mind.

How's it bullocks? The only way he would know how much John Fleck earned was if he was friends with him and even if he was I doubt he would tell anyone

So, this poster Sheffsteel seems to be making up things to try and make out SISU aren't bad owners which is a bit strange really for a fully grown man.

The bollocks bit is the slagging off of his points in the post by saying they didn't make any sense, instead choosing to pick up on the minor comment about how much Fleck earned when he went to Coventry. A fact widely reported at the time wrongly or rightly in the press.

You took the easy way out by trying to take the piss instead of responding to his point of view. Next you'll be picking up on his or mine grammar...always a sign when somebody's lost the argument.

His view is that Sheffield United would still be in the Premier League now if they didn't get relegated? What type of view is that? No words.

It's like me saying if we were allowed to play in Europe in 1987 we would have won a European trophy.

Neither can be proved right or wrong so it's quite a terrible point of view to be honest.

See your still obsessing over the one comment. It's got eff all to do with the main theme of the thread and eff all to do with the point he was making.

All you wanted to do was come across as a clever twat instead of contributing to the thread and counter acting the points made.

..and no you can't, do your own research. I'm posting on my phone and really can't be arsed trying to find, copy and paste old articles.

You are wrong, again. The main theme of the thread was about the protests from the Coventry fans. The protests were because of Coventry's owners SISU. Shefsteel is claiming a fact about them which isn't true.

You or him can't provide evidence because quite clearly you are both lying as you refuse to prove it.

Found the article. All it says is is "John Fleck has opted to move to League One rivals Coventry City". Nothing about money, so you are both liars unless John Fleck told you personally. Please apologize. Maybe he thought we had a better chance of being promoted after being relegated from the Championship or after his loan fell through at Sheffield United before he wasn't interested and opted for another move?

At last a proper response.

He didn't say we'd still be on the premier league but we COULD maybe have gone onto establish ourselves. He's also correct in his comment about how we've freefalled down the leagues since the Tevez affair and yes, it's been a tough time.

Several play-off losses and losing out to our most bitter rivals that first season, as a direct result of the Ched Evans affair. In most of our opinions that is.

So yes we've had a few years of shit on the football field and off it what with Tevez and Evans.

No we haven't had the shit Coventry have but at the end of the day, we're both in the same league and that tells you something.

If the match had been abandoned the other night, and I stand to be corrected, we could have missed out on two crucial points. Might not seem much to what Coventry are facing but at the end of the day it's supposed to be all about football, and what's going on there has nothing to do with football.

I've no hard feelings against Coventry and hope they get themselves sorted, but not at my club or any other clubs expense. The pitch invasion and whistling (strangely more audible when we were on the front foot) tennis balls aimed at our players, were wrong pure and simple.

Where's the line drawn?

Who's cause is just and who's isn't?

If Millwall invade the pitch because of a unjust penalty I take it we're all alright with that?

No we're not and neither should we be about Coventry's actions.

How is whistling at a football game wrong?

And no, I highly doubt Millwall would pitch invade after one wrongly awarded penalty. If they had a penalty given wrongly against them every season for 7-8 years monthly then I think they would and I would support that because they would want answers

Comparing the future of a 100+ year old football club to a dodgy penalty decision

Whistling at a football game is not wrong or against the rules of football, if it was then the referee would have abondoned the game because it happened for the majority of the game.

Well I'm almost sure games have been stopped before because of someone blowing whistles in the crowd.

..and please don't try pretending that the whistles weren't designed to disrupt play by confusing the players whether the ref had blown or not.

If you wish to continue this debate over the next couple of days then great, but I've got to log off now. Do us a favour though, try to stay away from the personal insults and carry on making your point in an adult fashion.

No we haven't experienced anything close to what you've gone through but I thought you were trying to raise awareness of your situation?

Talking about it on forums does that and as you chose the match against us to disrupt and possibly cause abandonment every Sheffield U fan is perfectly entitled to give a point of view about the whole affair.

Your actions the other night didn't just affect your club, you dragged ours into it too.

You'd be more disappointed if nobody was talking about it surely?

I'm a Chester fan not Coventry.

Come off it you've had one relegation is ten years that's not even close to constituting anything like a free fall. I get it must be tough being stuck in league one for a few seasons before inevitably returning to the championship but that's part of football, you have highs and lows. It's in no way comparable to watching your club die a slow and painful death.

I live in Sheffield I like Sheff Utd as a club and I've even got to a few games, they come across as a 'proper club' with knowledgeable and passionate supporters. Those pro sisu chants and some of the posts on this thread are just embarrassing though.
