Cardiff (A) - Away form has gone from the best in the league to being woeful under Wassall. 2-0 LOSS
Hull (H) - Hull struggling a bit at the moment, but they'll do enough here. 1-0 LOSS
Bolton (H) - Couldn't beat them on the opening day, but surely we have to here? 2-0 WIN
Charlton (A) - Another we couldn't beat early on in the season, but surely we should here? 2-1 WIN
Bristol City (A) - Hopefully do the double over these. 2-1 WIN
Sheff Wed (H) - Collapse in front of the tv screens. 2-0 LOSS

This is the month we lose our place in the playoffs. We've stumbled along against bottom half teams, and I have very little confidence we will get anything from those around us.

Hull City (A) - Two week break leading into this one, and back down to earth with a bang. They looked good at ours but lacked a frontman with Hernandez out, presuming he's fit he'll take us to the cleaners here. 4-0 loss.

Rotherham (H) - Colin's worked wonders there, but their away record is horrific. Fancy us for a point here - anything but a loss. 1-1.

Sheffield Wednesday (H) - Comprehensively outplayed us at theirs on the opening day but we've come on leaps and bounds since then. Still think they'll be a bit too much for us. 0-2 loss.

Brentford (A) - Dropped like a stone recently, think I read somewhere they've lost seven of their last eight or something like that. Think we'll beat them. 0-3.

Derby (H) - Massively outplayed us at theirs, can see a repeat of the same. Very good side on paper. 0-2.

Blackburn (A) - Hoping we're safe by then, otherwise this could be a big game. Think we'll take a share of the spoils up there. 1-1.

Huddersfield (H) - Potentially a biggie this, probably not though given they picked up the three points at ER on Saturday. Fancy us to win this. 2-1.

8 points. Would see us more than safe.

The Wednesday
Huddersfield (a) We seem to do OK at their place of late and should get a result - DRAW

Blackburn (h) a bogey side at ours, cannot remember the last time we beat at S6 but it'll change next month - WIN

Bristol City (a) - in reasonable form and still not out of the relegation scrap - DRAW

Ipswich (h) another side with a good record at ours and they'll be chasing a play off spot - DRAW

MK Dons (h) owe them after our result down there in December - WIN

Derby (a) we barely win at the IPRO and I think they'll do us - LOSS

Cardiff (h) vital game for both sides going for the top six but I think this is the game wherever seal our place WIN

Wolves (a) a ground we tend to struggle at but can see us getting a point - DRAW

13/24 gives us 75 points. Clubs below us would need 17 points to surpass us thanks to our goal difference.

Leeds (H) - Win - with our current form and Leeds' last result I can only see one thing happening.

Bristol City (A) - Draw - both in good form, score draw nailed on.

MK Dons (A) - Win - this is the month where MKat fall apart and Warnock will have us right up for it to a degree where MKat won't be able to compete.

Nottingham Forest (H) - Win - They've got absolutely nothing to play for, we still will have and our home form has been excellent under Warnock.

Huddersfield (H) - Win - The game that will certify our championship status again next season.

Wolves (A) - Lose - We always lose at Moulineux.

Blackburn (H) - Draw - both teams nothing to play for going at it, high scoring draw.

Been waiting for April for a good month or two, full of very winnable games, some might say I'very been too optimistic but it's hard not to be at the moment.

Predicted 14 points and safety after the Huddersfield game, quote me on it.

10/24. Just realised that our run-in features a lot of teams in a similar position to us, with little to play for. Blackburn our only game in May too.

Blackburn (A) - I honestly don't care about the rest of the season, just this one game. Please fucking win North End. DRAW
Fulham (H) - Tough one to call, they score a lot but we don't concede many. They concede a lot but we don't score many. DRAW
Middlesbrough (A) - We'll lose and Nuge will score. LOSE
MK Dons (H) - think we'll have enough to beat these, hope so anyway, I hate that fat Scouse prick. WIN
Birmingham (A) - Looking forward to this one, new ground for me. Not expecting much though, they battered us at Deepdale and we somehow stole a point. LOSE
Burnley (H) - moved to Friday night for Sky, they will win and get promoted and I will be going out to get smashed afterwards. LOSE
Reading (A) - Another new ground and my last game of the season. Don't really care about the result, just going for a piss-up. DRAW

6 points and a faltering end to an excellent season.

Not having that!
Hull City (A) - A club baying for their manager to be sacked and we've won 4 out of 5 on the road. Draw

Rotherham (H) - We'll sort this mob out on our own turf. We are a confident side now and a different animal to the early season City - home win and the usual Bristolian welcome for our 'friend' Colin. :)

Sheffield Wednesday (H) - Good side are the Wendies but we'll test them - draw.

Brentford (A) - Dropped like a stone recently, think I read somewhere they've lost seven of their last eight or something like that. Think we'll beat them. 0-3. Agree with this, an easy away win.

Derby (H) - Daft squad, should be in the top 2 but flatter to deceive. HOME win.

Blackburn (A) - Hoping we're safe by then, otherwise this could be a big game. Think we'll take a share of the spoils up there. 1-1. Yep, take a point.

Huddersfield (H) - Once again JJH is underestimating his own side. Home win.

15/21 points. Feet up. Bring it on next season!

In fairness I did say we'd beat Huddersfield :D

I'd be over the moon with eight points with one to play, not a chance we'd go down on 51 points!

I was being a tad optimistic I will admit JJH but why not? Somewhere between our 2 predictions would be most likely IMHO. ;)

I've put our May fixture in too, doesn't seem worthy of its own month.

Wolves (A) - This one could set the tone for the rest of the season - a win and good performance and people will believe again, lose and McCarthy will be under a lot more pressure. Most likely it'll be a draw and we'll rumble on as we are. Draw
Charlton (H)
- If we can't win this then there's really no point, is there? Win
Brentford (H)
- Hopefully their terrible run of form will continue and we can get a second win in a week. Win
Wednesday (A)
- Last season this is exactly the sort of game we would have won. This season it isn't. Lose
Fulham (H)
- Another good opportunity to pick up points, but they're likely to be battling for survival so it won't be easy. Win
Middlesbrough (A)
- They're not the most prolific goalscorers so there's a slim chance of a 0-0, but I don't think get anything here. Lose
MK Dons (H)
- See Fulham. Win
Derby (A)
- This could be a playoff to get in the playoffs or it could be meaningless for both teams. Whatever the situation, if we need to get a result then we definitely won't. Lose

13/24 which won't be enough for the playoffs and we'll finish about where we are now.

'Battling' and 'Fulham' aren't 2 words I would use together Veggie. They certainly didn't show any 'battle' when we played them at theirs a week ago in a game their Manager described as a 'must win' game.

I guess that's positive for us if they're just going to roll over. Although they might realise that they need to step up if they're in the relegation zone by then.

Quite the run of home teams you play there! Probably 4 or the worst 5 teams form wise at the moment...

We showed what we do when we had to get just a draw at home to Reading on the final day last season. You'd thrash us, like they did.

Yep, couldn't ask for nicer home games. Unfortunately, even if we win all of then, we'll still need to pick up some points on the road which isn't going to happen.

We had it in our hands on the final day last season and lost to Blackburn, we only stayed in the playoffs because you were equally inept.

When's Skusey back for you? You haven't half missed him by all accounts.

Sounds perfect.

He's been back for the last few games. We did miss him, but what we're really missing is some creativity in midfield.
I would have thought Pringle could do that TBH. Good to hear Skusey's back.
