Still haven't watched Flash but completely up to date with Arrow.

I, too, loved the mid-season finale and am looking forward the show returning. Expecting ATOM, Roy and Laurel to step up in Ollie's absence.

I'm watching through Arrow at the moment. Was looking forward to reading up through the old thread once caught up, but nevermind. Nearing the end of the second series, just got to the part where Moira reveals she knew that Oliver was the Arrow and then in comes Slade.....

It's on my to-watch list, don't worry!

I watched the two crossover episodes (largely in fear of missing something that would affect Arrow) and enjoyed them so I'm sure when I eventually get around to watching The Flash, I will love it just as much as our caped, masked vigilante's show.

Arrow has consistently performed and no exception with the way the first half of the season finished. I'm expecting ATOM, Roy and Laurel to step up a little and do what they can but being overrun which sees Waller bring in the Suicide Squad (Including Deathstroke) to defend Starling from the league, Deathstroke being in the squad would show just how desperate Waller is.

Thinking Ollie dead, hopefully Deathstroke can move on and allow his character to evolve from revenge.

I'm expecting some Lazarus Pit action to explain Ollie's revival. They toyed with it in Dark Knight Rises but it would fit in well with this Universe.

Wasn't Ra's seen getting out of what at the time many assumed a bath earlier in the season but could in fact be a Lazarus pit? Or it was at least in the background. Just read an article Amell claiming Oliver isn't put in the pit, but for me it's just a question for me of who will be the one to put him in, wouldn't be surprised if it were on Ra's orders seeing as how he probably knows it wasn't OIlie who killed Sarah so true justice wasn't done by him dying.

Strong return in Arrow, glad they've not faffed about and got straight to it...Flash is a bit meh for me, story advancement/main over-arching plot focus seems to take a backseat to 'villain of the week' and the thing I always liked about Arrow was that it was the complete opposite.

I've just gotten around to watching the Arrow season 2 finale. T'was good.

I want to get on with season 3, and I also want to get on with The Flash as well, plus they did some crossover shit as well, right?

What's the proper "watch order" for this stuff now, then? Do they run season 3 of Arrow and season 1 of The Flash at the same time (like, alternating episodes, perhaps?) or is it a case of watching season 3 of arrow then the flash or what?

Flash is shown day before Arrow each week, so Flash crossover was day before the Arrow half

Agreed. I thought this could lead onto more development for Roy/Arsenal and A.T.O.M. Seems we're not going to see A.T.O.M for a while and Roy's done his developing off screen.

View them both as two parts of one series. The new series started together so watch episode 1 of Flash, then episode 1 of Arrow and so on. You can't go wrong then.

Don't think Oliver will return for a few episodes yet so there will be time for people in Starling to develop without Oliver still before his return. All I hope is that Laurel doesn't go straight to being a legit vigilante, she hasn't trained much, Sara league of assassins, Oliver - Island, Waller etc

Agreed. I like both equally normally.

It's got to be said, Laurel is annoying as hell, but holy shit is she fine as Black Canary. The whole pretending to be Sara story is going to get old though.

Arrow needs ATOM to turn up soon. It's going to be awesome.

Well past me, I've finally caught up with both Arrow and The Flash. I'm enjoying both series' and it was good to see my favourite character from the series in the latest episode of Arrow. Although Grodd from The Flash could take over.

Strange that there's no episode of The Flash this week and it's going on another break until March 15th, but Arrow's still on.

Think I read they're using the return of The Flash to promote a new show. Think we can rule out a crossover to end each series then.
