Should be an easy Arsenal win, 3-0.

Arsenal coming off the back of being embarrassed and out for a backlash.

Us with a style of play that totally depends on high tempo and high stamina pressing and counter attacking and fast ball movement. With a second game in a few days. With a squad that isn't deep enough at this point to make any changes to the same side that drew with Palace in a hard fought game.

All logic suggests this being pretty messy for us.

But we'll always give it a go and we rarely comply with logic.

If it's any comfort, we traditionally do not bounce back strongly from batterings. The side's confidence is very brittle and if we don't score early the crowd will get edgy and the players nervous. I think both sides will be tired, but you have very little to lose and will play with less fear. I do think you'll get something.

We don't look bothered, and Ramsey is carrying a knock. I'm starting to sympathise with Chelsea fans

Of all the goals to concede to Arsenal. A bloody corner.
Still, we made the home fans start moaning after 15 minutes!

It's taken our third choice centre back (Gabriel) 26minutes to score more goals than Hazard this season.

Nice goal by Ozil for 2-0. Should coast it now. SHOULD.

If Arsenal could finish anything like clinically, they'd be 5-0 up by now!

Imagine if Walcott was actually a remotely consistent striker.

Well I've no idea how that ended "only" 2-0.

Arsenal are possible the worst side we could play in the situation of only having 12-13 senior pick-able players who are already leggy after a game 2 days ago. They're obviously so good at moving the ball and finding / creating gaps.

If Arsenal finish that poorly against better sides than us, they'll drop needless points.
As it is, they enjoyed a regulation straightforward win here.

Onwards for us, hope King's knock isn't too bad, and rest up for a few days

Well the Emirates is everything I dislike about the Premier league. Tourists more interested in taking selfies than supporting their team and a real corporate atmosphere everywhere around the ground.

As for the game, better teams than us will be undone by Ozil's brilliance. Their second goal was magical football. We didn't have the options to rotate and our injury stricken squad were too knackered to get close when Arsenal really started popping it about.

Having said that, the goals came from errors, and actually during periods we were enjoying sustained possession. But we were swiftly punished for switching off.

Ah well, what a month December has been. After Leicester we have a much more winnable run

That pass from Ozil from outside the box to Walcott on the corner of the 6 yard box was absolutely ridiculous.

Ozil carried us. Somehow the ox has gone backwards. We either create a chance or lose the ball with HIm.

Ozil was awesome and Gabriel . Other than them the team looks very tired.
