It does seem to be a trait of this Arsenal side that a side effect of their free-flowing passing game is that there are often passes made that don't seem to have much forethought. An example from yesterday would be Wilshere passing to Lacazette in the attacking penalty area. He was marked, had no route to goal and nobody to pass to once he received it. Wilshere is an intelligent player, so why is he playing hopeless poked passes like that?

i'm with pags, klopp out imo

even if/when the defence is improved this sort of result would still happen, the manager is naive to the extreme which is why he's dropped 43 points from winning positions since taking charge, more than anyone else in europe during that time. people are deluded and/or clueless if they believe a couple of defenders and a new keeper will solve the problems. it'll probably help a bit but the glaring issues with the manager and his inability to control a game will still be there.

you're 2-0 up away at arsenal and your front 4 don't even think about tracking back to help out your shit midfield 2, you concede. why are you even persisting with a front 4 in that situation? the game is all but won if you show some tactical discipline. you're 2-1 up away at arsenal and your front 4 barely make an effort to get back, mr. long shot gets the ball, no effort to close him down, you concede. it's 2-2 away at arsenal and you're on the back foot having conceded 2 quick goals, arsenal are well on top now. time to slow the game down and get a foothold again. nope, let's leave 4 up front 50 yards away from the play. you unsurprisingly concede again. it's an overall mentality thing, not an individual mistake thing. you don't drop 43 points like that in such a short space of time just because of individual mistakes.

Admit you are wrong on Mignolet Salts, come on. It's time. Your support of him as a Liverpool player is nice n all that but seriously it's like idolising a celebrity even after you find out theyve been fiddling with kids.
That Xhaka shot should never beat a premier league keeper.
I said he had a poor game and it doesn't matter as he is getting replaced by Karius next season anyway.

Also, I'm not sure where this bullshit of my "beloved Lloris" came from. The only comment I've made about Lloris is that he's better than Mignolet. Which is a bit like saying the smell of a freshly cut flower is more agreeable than that of dog shit.
And in this case is wrong.

Indeed I wouldn't gibby. He'll bring in another midfielder in the summer alongside Keita to make way for the departure of Coutinho and Can; and sign a few defenders. It's not a system issue, it's just our current lot at times lose the plot for a while. They do get control back eventually unlike under Rodgers when we'd have went on to lose games like that, and I remain confident herr Klopp can fix the remaining issues.

when you're 2-0 up away to arsenal and you've 4 players miles away from the play then there's a problem with the system imo. his self admitted philosophy is literally to play without control, so it's no wonder you frequently lose it. the people consistently claiming it''s down to individual errors are idiots. 43 points dropped from winning positions, 4 (soon to be 5) transfer windows to fix the perceived problems. at some point you have to look a little harder. look at your teams structure for the 3rd arsenal goal. absolutely hilarious mate.

You could line up 100 goalkeeping experts and I would be amazed if you found one that agreed with that bullshit opinion.

You're embarrassing yourself now.

You are just blinded your agenda against him, he has saved us points also this season. Don't hear you speaking up for him when he makes crucial saves there. Ignore the good, pounce on the bad. Like too many on here and social media.

We press the hell out of the opposition and most of the time it works; when we've been exposed before its either been because the press has been broken (which is the risky thing about that system), or down to players losing their men which happened yesterday for example. We have tightened up significantly since the Spurs game, and its been working well, but in matches like Sevilla away and yesterday, the midfielders went awol for a spell. That's a personnel issue, or an experience one. We also have Coutinho in there too, and while he does press going forward, he won't do too much tracking back if the ball gets lost, so there can be at times more pressure on the more 'defensive' players in the squad. There are other times when we'll play a possession game too, its very rare we come up against a side and don't have a better possession stat come the 90 mins. With Keita coming in and another midfielder I expect to also, I think they'll be better there next season.

You'll be a Cout down though, which is massive.
Liverpool won't be anywhere near next season.

I fancied Arsenal to win this, but when they went 2 zip down I thought it was a formality for Liverpool, it really was inexcusable not to win given the number of chances they created. The equaliser saved Klopp's bacon, have to agree with GB above, he needs to take a serious look at his team's shape and discipline. Not so sure how much longer his honeymoon with Merseyside has left....
