Didn't get to see the game as I'm abroad but sounds like once again Swansea's wingers were giving us a hard time. I've also read that Xhaka's red was a little harsh? Perhaps looks worse on first glance than on replay?

I think Xhaka's red was fair. It was the sort of tackle you'd only bother making in the last couple of minutes to save a result.

The only thing that was in his favour is that the foul was made in his own half.

This might be a little harsh, but I think we should try Gibbs starting at left back. With Mustafi in for Mertesacker, we've pushed our defence up and I think Monreal doesn't look quite as comfortable compared to last season.

I think that's a good shout for opponents like Barrow, ie nimble wingers.

Absolutely no chance of that happening.

I would say it far more likely that Xhaka's red is the last one we see all season for that type of foul, than there is it being a consistent red.

The Middlesbrough v Watford game all ready hinting at that fact.
