Swansea make six changes, we make three. Campbell, Mertesacker and Giroud in for Walcott, Koscielny and Walcott. Koscielny has a little bit calf niggle.

Hardly even bears saying that we NEED to win this.

1-0 from a lovely Campbell finish. Best player so far. Swansea not looking bothered yet.

Tidy finish that. Campbell justifying the start so far after being needlessly dropped.

We've not played badly at all, though. Hit the post and bar. Been unlucky imo. Alexis, however, continues to look extremely out of sorts. Would like to see Welbeck on sooner rather than later.

It'd be fucking brilliant if we ended Arsenal's season tonight.

This team should be absolutely ashamed of themselves, as should Wenger. I'll say exactly what I said after the United match, they are a team of losers. Pathetic.

Well, look. I mean, we hit the post once, the bar once and Swansea's first goal came from a foul. It's the raggiest, luckiest, jammiest away win at the Emirates since West Ham in 2007, but it doesn't really matter, because if we had a midfield we would've won that comfortably. Same problem as at United, and for the vast majority of this season. We've simply been unable to keep the ball, build possession, put teams under sustained pressure. Ramsey and Coquelin at the base of the midfield isn't, and can never be, a title-winning combination. You need some fucking composure. I don't know what the solution is at the moment. Elneny can't be any worse. It's got to be worth a shot.

For all that, it's a genuinely disastrous result, and I can't see the team recovering from this slump. Well played Leicester or Spurs.

Can you sell Campbell to us as Wenger doesn't seem to rate him.

Though it's a bit doom n gloom now, Spurs lost, so your chance of going above them is no different had you both won, and you wouldn't be down about that situation. If you win that then it comes down to wether you think we have the ability to go on without losing (or just pick up a few draws rather than wins) and I think most people expect us to drop a few points between now and then.

Cup final on Saturday.

I have never felt surer of a North London derby defeat. I just cannot conceive of a possible way we will play well enough, over ninety minutes, to keep them from scoring more goals than us.

Nah we'll win and then we'll all look back and say 'if only we'd beaten Swansea we'd be 3 points ahead'. Every time. Then we'll lose to West Brom before heroically beating Barcelona 1-0 despite Campbell getting sent off for shagging Wenger's daughter.

Tell you what else. Olivier Giroud was absolutely fucking rancid tonight. Ten games since he scored, is it? Not the man you want up front when the chips are down. Even his first touch, usually reliable, was appalling.

Massive win for Swansea this. With Norwich and Villa coming up they could pretty much confirm safety. The bottom four look adrift.

Thing is he's actually been one of our better players despite that for the past few games, bar today. It didn't help today that the CB's were forced to fire in 20-30 year passes to Giroud when he had 2 defenders on him because our midfield is incapable on playing a forward pass through the lines. We must have lost the ball 5-6 times today doing that. I can't see this getting better until Cazorla comes back, the whole team is unbalanced with us missing just one player.

Yeah Cech and Koscielny out for the NLD

We've scored 18 goals at in 14 home games. We are not good enough.

You could always strengthen your squad in the window. (Which you didn't) Totally crazy idea I know.

Same old Arsenal. Funny thing is their fans for the first time in a long time would've had genuine thoughts of winning the title. That must make this latest bottle job all the more painful. LOL
