Draw written all over it as two decent defences cancel each other out. Good result for City and Liverpool if that happens.

1-1

If Alderwiereld remains out you're talking about a side that has conceded more than it's scored in his absence.

Feeling very confident tbh, especially if Alderweireld and Kane don't make it. We leak chances but I think we'll score at least a couple. I'm going to go for 2-0.

Oh so its a 2 horse race according to Pagnell, all this in just 10 games you will never learn.

Without Aldeirweld and Kane, Arsenal should be beating them. But it looks like Cazorla won't be fit, so I fear for our ability to transition against the press. Xhaka is the obvious choice with his passing range, but can he keep a cool head in the NLD?

Will Dembele start for Spurs? I think he's their most important midfielder.

Walcott, Monreal, and Bellerin are all expected to return. Looks like Cazorla will miss out.

Hopefully Walcott didn't lose form over the last two weeks. I know he fancies a goal against Spurs, and his defensive efforts have been important this season.

So Arsenal are top with a win in the NLD. This is setting me up for a sad nap.

Three at the back formations are officially en vogue in the Premier League.

Pisser.

Can't see Spurs scoring here, even with Kane back.

Kane hasn't looked match fit to me. I think Pochettino was over-eager.

I'm not sure the goal should have stood. There were two offside Arsenal players whom influenced Wimmer's nice finish. I'll take it; I think we're fair value for the lead. Excellent delivery from Ozil.

I don't think it should either. Despite not touching the ball the players are clearly attacking the ball and so they're active. I'm not sure I agree that you're value for the lead, not much happened before that til the Iwobi chance. Good effort from Walcott.

Marble mouth Robbie Earle thinks it's legit so I guess it's fine.

NBCSN pundits saying Koscielny was onside and the closest challenger to the ball. I agree with that, but I think Wimmer has a case that Koscielny wasn't the only Arsenal player influencing the outcome. True - not much in this. I think we've had the better chances and Wenger's gameplan looks effective thus far. Add in my bias, we have the recipe for deserved lead.

Xhaka has played some excellent passes from deep, showed great awareness to play Walcott in for his shot off the bar. He can be a brilliant player if he can avoid recklessness.

I think it's one of those goals that shows you the rule is a mess as an 'active' player in an offside position should be blown for. A lot of the time refs and linesmen only deem players active when they touch the ball (see players running onto balls in open space only for the linesman to wait until they touch the ball to raise their flag) or players obstructing a keepers view, but in this instance there were players in offside positions going for the ball. For me that makes them active. I'd be pissed if that goal was against my side.

Amazing that Son was gonna be fucked off. Easily Spurs biggest threat, and not for the first time this season.

Koscielny isn't as good as Arsenal fans make out.
