We're really due to hand out a major beating to someone soon (I know we've recently smashed Sunderland, but that's Sunderland...), don't think it'll come here, though I do think we'll win. 3-2.

 you're dreaming if you think it's gonna be that easy, it could go either way, but no way in hell you'll smash us.

Perhaps if Lambert was still in charge, I'd say you were dreaming at the score being that low and us scoring.

If we play like we have in the last 6 or 7 we'll spank you, especially if you attack gungho

Likewise, if we play how we have in the past few we'll stick 4 past you. We're no longer an easily beatable team.

2-2 both teams in form, if one team wins, the other will go off form. Gonna be a great match this IMO.

Just noticed we haven't beat you since that 3-2 win at Goodison thanks to Ashley Young's last kick of the game.

Still, I don't pay attention to stats, every game is different.

Think we will win this 2-1. Villa have been playing well recently but so have we and our recent record against Villa is pretty good. Lukaku to score both

This game will basically be decided whether Everton's defence can cope with Benteke, Agbonlahor and Grealish... I don't think they can, which is my reasoning for thinking we'll win it.

Really want an Everton win here. Barkley to step it up and grab one. Mirrorballs the other. 0-2.

Villa fantastic value but the way they are so pro-attacking is ridicolous now, it's 3 vs 4 everytime Everton attack, Sherwood must change it or else I can see at very best 2-2 for Villa. Which would be unfair as they have been miles better than Everton so far.

I wonder if you're still their favourite team after Swansea.

You're my new favourite poster, keep it up!

Did Everton play today? I saw Clattenburg, but that was it.

Goals here.

3-2 to Villa.
Good call.

Villa were very good today and deserved the win (I was there), but going forward I'm still not overly convinced with them unless changes are made in the summer. They've clearly improved under Sherwood and they should stay up, as I predicted when he took over, but I still think he's a manager for getting the best out of players in the short term and will struggle to take Villa much further up the table next season. He deserves the chance though.

I actually thought Villa created very little today, and their third goal came against the run of play at a time when Everton looked like scoring every time they came forward. They still have problems at the back and far too often they resort back to the side-to-side passing that typified Lambert's reign at the club which is all too easy to defend against.

Saying that, Delph and Grealish were fantastic and if you create chances for Benteke he'll score more often than not. After the shit they've been through in recent years league survival and a cup final appearance is a big achievement.
