Deserved victory for Villa. They were the better team for the majority of the game

Rodgers flops in a big game again. Well done Villa, fully deserved. Fair fucks to Tactics Tim.

Fucking fantastic. 58 years of hurt... Here we come, Arsenal! Please play like you did against Reading in the final, lads.

Has any club ever had an easier route to the final?

Lee Clark's Blackpool, at home
Bournemouth's reserves, at home
Leicester, at home
An underperforming WBA, at home
And an absolute shit Liverpool side...

How much did Liverpool spend in the summer again? The funniest thing about the result, aside from the fact we don't have to listen to that prick Rodgers or the media bang on about the final being Gerrard's last game for Liverpool and his birthday, obviously, is that Villa completely outplayed Liverpool today and fully deserve to go through to the final. Incredible.

Could easily go on about how poor we were, because we were. We were fucking shit.

But I'd much rather say that Villa thoroughly deserved to win the match, from start to finish. They were the better team and it would have been 2-0 had it not been for a lucky deflection. I was very, very impressed which partially comes from underestimating them. Both goals were class and if they play like they did today, they stand a fair chance of beating Arsenal.

I didn't manage to watch the game. Very happy with the result though because the final will be about two teams rather than a sickening Stevie Me love fest.

The jealousy is so fucking clear.

Really? Jealousy is the one and only word that comes to mind? I was at Wembley just four years ago, when we beat Arsenal...

It has been 19 years now for Villa.

What's funny about it is that Gerrard gets alot of shit for that, but it's pretty much 100% down the pundits. It doesn't change your point at all, but it's worth pointing out.

The Bluenoses are always the same mate, I'd bite if they were anywhere near a challenge to us at the moment. However, as is, they're just a bitter mid table Championship side.

And the reason why you was not at Wembley today was because...?

When Delph scored, It only took one minute to direct a chant at Blues.

This is true, but I don't think anyone wanted you lot in the final for that exact reason, whether that's the media's fault or not.

Because I don't have two pennies to rub together at the moment, if I had the money, I'd have been there, however due to unforseen circumstances of having a crushed disc in my spine, I've spent a fair amount of time off work, resulting in me barely having the money to eat, let alone go to Wembley. That a good enough excuse for you, my friend?

Anyway, enough time wasted arguing with Mr Bitter here, I'm having me a drink.

Fair enough, a lot of misdirected hatred flying about though. It's amazing how something as trivial as that really gets people going.
