Just read the German army cannot operate in Germany.

Ridiculous if true.

Instead of spreading hate and blaming Muslims and refugees, how about you do something helpful and retweet #Munich

You'd need multiple attacks in one city before people were willing to risk imprisonment for that, surely?

Perhaps, I just see far-right violence coming soon, using the 'vigilante' guise that so many have done before.

Not even clear what's happened here, it is the anniversary of the Anders Brevikk attack today apparently. Though it doesn't seem the MO of the far-right, unless the attack is more discriminatory than first appears?

I do wonder about this. We must either be a) very well prepared or b) not that a big a fish in terms of making a big statement with an attack right now.

I always thought it was partly that our intelligence services are very good, but also that because we're an island, it is more difficult to get assault weapons into the country.

Yeah, that makes sense.

The fact that one gunman shot himself in the head suggests it's more likely the far-right than Islamists I'd have thought.

Yeah, that makes sense.
I mean it seems like it would be easy to me. I regularly take the car over to France and nobody ever stops to look in the boot, but maybe there's some sort of racial profiling they employ. It's just what I've heard on the news in the past.

Maybe you just exude respectability and trustworthiness.

Seems that the talk of the suspect being dead might be false.

To be honest even the copper didn't seem to know what was what when he gave that press conference. Worrying.

That will dissapoint a lot of people.

Katie Hopkins will be massively regretting brewing that hot chocolate, having her children tucked in by an immigrant and putting her slippers on to be comfy for the night ahead now.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Twitter is predictably full of morons blaming the recent refugee crisis and Americans using it to justify them having lots of guns, because they are all Rambo.

Ironic considering they spent the start of last century trying to disarm Germans...

Seems like it was a weird mixture of immigrant heritage and dislike of immigrants? Iranian background, which means ISIS sympathies very unlikely.

The transcript from the rooftop made it sound like he was annoyed about the whole refugee crisis making life hard for German-born Muslims. Seemed to be directing his frustration at both the Germans for their reaction and the refugees and economic migrants themselves for (from his perspective) messing things up for them.

Yep. Really odd. A deeply disturbed young man who was angry about all sorts of stuff, by the sound of it.

Oh good. We can write off the one that wasn't ISIS related and get back to blaming refugees.
