Cambridge was the best away trip in recent memory, easy to get to, cracking city and a decent ground. Back to Barnet in about an hour to carry on the Saturday frivolity. Ace.
Ah , the old north/south divide, I'm merely saying don't dismiss Accrington out of hand , and if you do go , visit the Crown Pub! If I lived in the south and making a trip up north was a rarity , I'd very much consider Carlisle, the main stand of thier is a joy to behold, so much tradition on view
I thought Accrington would be crap, but it's actually not too bad. Friendly folk all round, cheap boozers nearby, you get to stand on a terrace and no expectation of anything but a beating.
Maybe I'm just desensatised after so long in the Conference
