It's a double edged sword really, we want him to do well obviously, but the better he preforms the more scouts he will have to come and watch him. Either way sadly he will leave for nothing in the summer, shame as talent wise he is the best player I've seen for Wolves in my lifetime.

Sako scores a beautiful volley on the back post vs Ivory Coast. Sorry but this guy is the best player in the league by a country mile...

If he keeps performing like this at the ACON then I expect we will sell him if we get a decent offer, I am not into this would rather risk losing him for nothing at the end of the year than selling him now. £3 million and would accept it unless there had been some indication he may stay.

Yeah I saw that on the Wolves forum, people saying there hasn't been business between us for 20+ years that didn't involve a player the selling club wanted to leave or were prepared to let leave, however I don't care about rivalries if there is money to be made and we have targets to spend that money on.

I don't think 3m is remotely close to his valuation, it's only because he's near the end of his contract that clubs are trying to get him on the cheap. If he had a decent length on his contract, I think he valuation would be around the 10m mark.

Well done on turning their stupid money down, they'd only have ruined him!

They offered us something like 2.5m to try and unsettle him, it was insulting really. I don't think he'd leave unless a prem club came in for him though

As far as I know all the offeres they made were undisclosed officially, I just heard that figure from someone but you may be right with 4 mill.

They offered less for him than Fulham did was the rumour, Fulham were reported to have offered £3 Million. I think he is a tremendous player don't get me wrong, and I appreciate he was probably on top money, but he stayed and got us back up, had a quiet game or two, but didn't sulk and once Dicko signed he started to bully the league which I loved to see a bit of arrogance swagger from a Wolves player. Don't want him to go but at the same time can only see him staying if we get promoted, and I don't think we will get promoted.

That finish.. If Rooney or any other overrated England international scored that they'd be raving about it for months. Absolutely sublime.

This reminds me of my George Boyd lovefest on the old forum which is now gone forever.

What a thread that was.

Scored the equaliser in the draw against Ghana tonight, and a 30 yard free kick vs Gabon at the weekend. How this guy only plays Championship football is beyond me, and deserves a move to a top club in Europe when he leaves us in the summer.

Did I see something earlier about him signing for West Ham at the end of the season?

He has been linked with them but nothing has been announced so far, and I doubt anything will until the end of the season. He was linked with Valencia and Napoli over the weekend, if he could get a move to clubs of those stature I think he would go with every Wolves fan's blessing.

He'd go with mine. I'm not a huge fan of his. For every goal he's scored (most of them stunning), I reckon he's given away one as well.

He seems to play very well with Golbourne backing him up and with Dicko up front, though. Otherwise, he becomes invisible. I'd take the money and have Jarvis back, tbh.

I think Sako's a better player playing down the middle where he doesn't have to track back, rather than playing on the wing.

A superb player - a more energetic version of JET.

Also - as if Wolves don't spank us enough everytime we play you, it doesn't help when this bloke is on the pitch..
