Welcome to Allenball. I don't normally put too much stock on managers, but I would hate him here 'cos I actually can not stand the way his teams set out. And I know I mention Muggleton a lot, but fuck me, he'd struggle to get games for Dorking Wanderers. He actually has to have some sort of dirt on Allen.

If you have a phsyical and quick striker who has an average amount of ability (Akinde, was built for Allenball) then it will work and it will be effective. If you have someone like Ugwu who falls down on the average amount of ability, you're probably in a bit of trouble. You also may need to replace Nelson, his legs went a couple of years ago.

On a side note, odds on Still getting sacked early November and Allen heading to Barnet?

Look on the bright side. At least you’ll be the biggest, richest club in the Conference South. Unless Braintree don’t go up.

Game proper over now. Matt Harrold with the third.

Saturday 8th is when it happens. Get stuffed by eight at Halifax.

Full time. Still undefeated.

for the team with most goals conceded unbelievably we've played the same goalkeeper & 5 defenders for every game :ffs:

I have a bit of a man crush on Mitch Walker. Connor Essam is probably the worst defender I've seen play for Orient, discounting those who have played under twenty (would have it as ten, but Clayton Fortune managed double figures) games.

My mates text me who went today and said we deserved nothing out of it. Says we were terrible, echo'd what I was saying earlier about a lack of pace and threat anywhere in the team. I am starting to get really worried about the triple dip - I don't see where the goals are coming from at all.

lost 3-1 at Salford after being 1-0 up. Rooney, Pond and Lloyd all scored for them.
played quite well though despite the loss.
512 Barrow fans in a crowd of 3012.
The referee was abysmal - seemed totally out of their* depth and both management teams were unhappy - Evo got booked and not sure if the Salford guy did or not.

* I would say out of her depth - but there are plenty of male refs as bad if not worse in this league.... she needs to learn not to be bullied/intimidated by bigger teams though as apparently was the case today.

You weren't great but did get back into it towards the end, Martin Allen is an ugly football merchant, the only outlet you had today was the missile of a long throw, that was it.

Competent performance from Pools, defended the mortar balls into the box well, looked good going forward, really should've won by a bigger margin but a win and a clean sheet will do.

I’d be avoiding the National League in accas if I were you, bud.

I had a fiver on NL games for a change today and got £165, so not always bad!

Couldn't make it to Eastleigh today but sounded like we made it hard for ourselves by missing so many good chances.

Fylde will crucify us on Saturday if we don't take our chances.

A deserved 3-0 win for us this afternoon, we dominated the game for long periods and the game should've been wrapped up alot quicker than it was.

I'm not a fan of 2 games in 3 days personally, as I think it can take the edge and intensity out of the games played, but Dover were out on their feet by the end of both halfs - You could see the difference between one side being full time and the other being part time.

Charlie Lee was excellent for us and so was Big Marvin Ekpetita yet again - We are going to struggle to keep hold of him if we don't go up. A tall centre back, with pace, who can tackle and play out from the back - Thiose sort of players don't stay down here for too long......

Dover look like they're in for a long season, they were very tough to break down but had very, very little up front. I only ever felt threatened from their set plays due to their size.

The trouble is with these 'brotherhood' clubs, they long so much for a proper game against a proper football league outfit that when he comes round, it's a massive game for them. An FA cup final if you will. I bet Pools will have commemorative bedspreads and DVD's for today's game. It's difficult for goliath clubs like ourselves to get up for it in the same way.

Get in! Red card changed the game but overall deserved the 3 points, our best performance of the season.

Good win for us against Sutton, we played well once they went down to 10 men and were comfortable until they got a penalty in the 89th minute.

Their 15 seemed to spend most of the second half trying to take Kinsella out after the ball had gone. After about the 5th effort the referee finally decided to book him for it.

A real garbage performance. Big reality check for a very new team. Played right into Solihull's hands with our hoofball play, and then we take off Fondop with 20 mins to go.. the only player capable of challenging in the air. I think we had just the one half chance all game.

Danny Wright is still a right handful at this level, our young CB Doug Tharme struggled up against him.. think it was Wright that beat Tharme in the air at the back post leading towards the goal.

Final word on the ref.. don't think he made *too* many crap decisions (for this level), but my god it was all about him and constantly delaying the game. Worst being that he took an absolute eternity to walk over to the Solihull bench to book someone there, then again walked so slowly back onto the pitch. Dickhead.
