That was a minging game of a football to watch, no point dissecting it, two crap teams playing ugly football, relieved to get the win, finally, performances need to improve drastically, any team outside the bottom four would of piped us today, thankfully Guiseley were about as up to snuff as we were.

We narrowly edged out Maidenhead 1-0, we could've made it alot easier for ourselves if we took two good chances just after half time. The game wasn't a classic in hot conditions and with both sides having played two days earlier.

Instead we had to cling on at the end with them pumping long ball, after long ball into our penalty box. Thankfully Charlie Grainger, Georgie Elokobi and Josh Coulson were all outstanding for us at the back. Our counter attacking play was also quite good at the end and we could've had a second goal there as well.

Those were the sort of wins a team who wants to finish in the top 7 needs to grind out over the course of a season, so to get one was pleasing.

We are ahead of schedule, I'd have taken 3rd in the league and 13 points at this stage of the season, considering we've only had this team for about 6 weeks and we are still behind as a club in terms of preperation.

It was nervy at the end and Dibble certainly kept us in it throughout the match with some fine saves.

We had a few chances to extend the lead but couldn't get the second goal.. superb win at a Boreham Wood team who have surprisingly scored 16 goals in 5 games, which is pretty much the same amount of goals as they scored all last season.

We on the other hand are slowly becoming the masters of 1 goal wins; 6 scored and 5 conceded in 7 matches. Keates tactical masterclass in completely out-Boreham Wooding Boreham Wood.

Not a clue how people think Widdowson was our best player. Before he fatigued Clay was head and shoulders above any player on the pitch and when Maidenhead started to dominate Elokobi absolutely dominated. Think they're probably going to prove our main players come May, Clay especially I am so so impressed with.

Joke of a club. Last season refused to release highlights and as it was midweek there was no highlight show. One of our fans signed up and subscribed to their website and was able to watch highlights which he then uploaded to YouTube. Borehamwood threatened legal action and the YouTube clip was removed.
