Can't imagine that was a normal performance from Fylde and Barrow last night?!

I know Barrow have lost 3 or 4 players from last season and Harrison was on the bench, but they looked a shadow of what they were like at times season. There seemed no particular way of playing and looked horribly disjointed.

On that Fylde performance, the gap between the Conference and the North must be big. Rowe looked like he did when he was here i.e. not quite quick or fast enough to make a real impact and bar Hardy in patches, no-one looked great for them either.

Joke of a club. Last season refused to release highlights and as it was midweek there was no highlight show. One of our fans signed up and subscribed to their website and was able to watch highlights which he then uploaded to YouTube. Borehamwood threatened legal action and the YouTube clip was removed.

Now where's that tinpot thread.
Once up there, get everyone to download it from YouTube, and re-load it multiple times, over and over: what're they gonna do, sue everybody? :£:£:£

That's our worst performance of the season so far. We're normally a fairly decent passing side but that wasn't on show last night. A game seriously lacking in quality from both sides.
Regarding Danny, he's played like he did last night in every game this season. Maybe he knew he wasn't good enough for league football so never took the leap

In his absence... you were terrible. We never lose often against Torquay it's the LAW.

Ha. Not a shock. See we had 200-250 there though... club doesn't deserve the support it gets at the minute.

Disjointed is exactly the word for our performance, but kind of understandable really, isn't it? No manager and 14 fit players - There are eight or nine really good players there, but without direction, it all seemed a bit panicky. Fylde played the ball about the back a lot and then gave it away nine times out of 10, while we were crowded out every time we got on the ball.

The 4-4-2 isn't working because we've got no wide midfielders (well Bauress, but he can't cross), and I reckon if we'd have gone 5-3-2 we could have got something last night.

I actually thought Danny Rowe caused us the most trouble, but right through their squad there appears to be a lot of Conference North players - was Andy Bond playing right-back?

Bond has been right back since the first game when the young full back from kiddy got injured. It's definitely an area we need to strengthen

Looks very good. He and Manny Smith are looking like being as good a partnership in central defence as we've had down here

Pearson has been good but I reckon Smith has outperformed him so far. MOTM in most games I've seen to be honest. As a pairing they are the best since Riley/Westwood and before that Beast/NKP.

Our defence looks solid - however goals again are a concern - especially when Reid goes back to Fleetwood. Been impressed with the Pearson/Manny partnership. Think we still need 2 players - creative mf and a striker.Good BH wkd tho,and quite happy if we continue to chalk up 1-0 wins.

Why can't you do this via private message? Disrupts the flow of the thread.

No response to this then DarkSithLord? The likes on my original post show I'm not the only one who thinks the same. Is there any reason as to why everyone has to see you welcoming a new poster?

Fair enough if its get on the nerves of some posters but its one post once in a blue moon that nobody is "forced" to read?

We are being forced to read it because it's in the match day thread. Everyone sees it without wanting to as they don't expect it to be in here. Different story if it's in its own specific 'Welcome' thread.

Whatever. If I was spamming the boards with it several times a day or even a week then I could understand. Fine I will do it via PM from now on.

How the hell is it harming anyone? Lets people know there's a new person on the board that supports a particular club, often starts interaction with that person, and takes literally less than half a second to process and scroll past.
Some people are born cünts.
