First off its ridiculous that you should travel 150 miles to a game on boxing day.

Hopefully Newport will be drawn into a false sense of security after the FA cup farce when Martin Allen played lucky dip and played random players and in random positions. Since then we have got back to playing the right players in the correct positions.

I'm guessing Nelson won't be fit after his shoulder dislocation. I also think there is a good chance of seeing the mythical Lisbie after his hat trick for the reserves.
The performance last weekend was our best in a long time so I'm hopeful that we can give Newport a tougher game than we did in the cup. This is a good game for us and will hopefully tell us whether we have turned a corner or it was just a case of playing a poor Crawley side.
