a very tough game for leeds

creg promised me hourihane would be gone by now, so that's worrying,

we need a win but a draw wouldn't be a bad day whatsoever

i'm glad we are playing these with such a huge gap to 7th though as we tend to fall apart here
so a short blip wouldn't kill us

1-1

Same team as last week I suspect. Sacko should be back as an option to bring off the bench though.

Tricky game but probably not a bad time to play Barnsley. A win here followed by a game at home to Forest gives us a great chance of further cementing ourselves in the top six. We've got ourselves into a position where a point isn't a big issue as I can't see us chasing down the top two.

I'd normally be quite confident given our record vs you lot at Oakwell, but not this time. You're on the up and we've had an absolute meltdown the last couple of weeks, off the pitch at least (although losing to Blackpool in the 120th minute mid-week hasn't helped on it).

Given we've lost our top scorer and other players are apparently on the verge of leaving or subject to bids, I would very gladly take a point from today and hope it doesn't kick off in the stands or in town at any time.

Pretty much what Jamo said. Bit of a cloud hanging over the club at the moment. Just want January to end really.

Ah well. Barnsley hit us with a very intense spell either side of the break and we were shocked. Two good goals albeit through cheap set pieces conceded. We haven't been behind much of late and weren't good today. But we've been so good of late that we just have to take this on the chin with our defensive absentees. Perfect chance to recover on Wednesday. Well done Barnsley.

Got away with the defence last week without too much trouble but away from home under more pressure it showed. Coyle was poor, Ayling much less comfortable at CB. Looking forward to having Jansson back but he's going to get another ban soon enough so that might trigger Monk into bringing in another option back there.

Not half Craig.

Absolutely chuffed to bits after that. After all the unrest, Winnall leaving, Hourihane apparently going and the lads pull a performance out of the bag like that in a local derby, against the form team as well. Just fantastic. I thought Leeds were a real threat from set pieces but were pretty poor other than that, we could've defended better for the first goal but other than that everyone played their part in a great performance full of guts.

Just glad that penalty didn't cost us. Take a bow Mike Dean.
