Well, a couple of the sides tipped to do well pre-season with big budgets and a couple of the bigger fanbases in League One. Both are struggling at the moment, with Barnsley 8 defeats in 9 and Sheffield United really under the pump in mid-table after a heavy 4-2 loss at home to Shrewsbury on Tuesday.

Don't know what either team has been playing at this season. Both have woefully underperformed, while unfancied sides like Gillingham, Walsall, Burton et al top the table with half the resources (probably a third of United's).

We played well at Peterborough on Tuesday but were absolutely bang out of luck. But we need to win tomorrow, be it through luck or finally through taking the chances we're creating and missing of late. There'll be defensive cock ups again no doubt, but hopefully more for United. If we lose then it'll be 10 defeats in 11 league games (with a defeat at Altrincham in the cup in the middle of all that), and I think that it might finally be curtains for Johnson. Likewise, if United lose then I reckon Adkins might go. A draw doesn't really help either side.

What an absolute shitfest. Don't get me wrong I'm delighted we equalised, and a draw was fair overall given we missed a penalty and hit the woodowork twice, but good God what a bad performance. United had two lumbering centre-backs in Basham and Collins, so what do we do, play to their strengths and chip hopeless balls onto their heads for 75 minutes until Hourihane finally decides to have a go and make up for his penalty cock up. Utter, utter shite. It was a carbon copy of each of the last 5 or 6 home games, other than the 95th minute equaliser, and we're now bottom of the pile.
My patience has just about gone now with regard to Johnson. Would love for the late equaliser to act as a morale booster but it won't. Lose at Colchester in 2 weeks and I think we'll finally (hopefully) get rid.

Makes sense, he seemed to join your attacks a lot. I just assumed he was a CB because he's massive. Either way, we didn't give your defenders anywhere near enough to do other than head the ball away every now and again.

You were very poor i thought, were wank but you have a few more problems than us. It was 2 shit teams but up until the 80th min we were the better in my opinion but lets move on another shit result.
