Clash of the ex Championship sides at Oakwell today. A fair old trip for the Millwall faithful in rubbish conditions, don't envy them. Barnsley have picked up some form recently, albeit inconsistently still. Millwall are much better on the road than they are at home so it could be a worthy journey for their fans. Is Lee Johnson still under any pressure?

Decent win the the other day for us but we just can't stop conceding 2 a game. Fully expect an away win, will be satisfied with anything other.

Johnson is seemingly under bugger all pressure now we've ended that 8 game losing streak. Our chairman himself said when he originally brought him in that "he'd be the last manager he'd appoint". Vocal dissent has been non existant at games, but if he gets it wrong in the January transfer window and we're still hovering around the bottom 4 come Feb/March then that will increase and he might finally go.
I do want him to succeed as he's a nice bloke and all but it's just not good enough at the moment.

Millwall apparently are bringing close to 1,000 which is excellent support, way in excess of their usual numbers up here. Hopefully they'll go home unhappy:lol:

Usually we play better away, so I'm not surprised we're doing alright for away support lately - of course, not so much today. Meh.

I don't know where the person on our forum got "700 sold at the start of the week" from, unless they were all stuck on the M1.

Brilliant 3 points from a hard fought game, some strong challenges going in from both sides. Thought we rode our luck a little bit in the second half with a few cleared off the line, but Forde made a couple of fantastic saves as well and I think we just about edged it overall. Great goal by Hammill to win the game. Millwall aren't a bad side but looked a bit one dimensional, and I'm glad we kept Onyedinma quiet as he was class in the return game.

3 wins out of 4 for us now, shame we've got to wait 2 weeks for our next game vs Shrewsbury after they got hit for 7. If Johnson makes a couple of shrewd signings between now and then we might be in for a decent second half to the season.
