Barnsley vs Oldham Athetic

The only game in Tuesday in League 1, which provides us with a big opportunity to climb back into those playoff places.

For Barnsley, a win would have them sniffing out a playoff spot themselves, as the middle of the table is tighter than a virgin's snatch.

We've already met this season, a 2-2 draw in the JPT, but I'd love a similar performance this Tuesday because on that evening we battered them, yet still somehow needed penalties to progress.

I'd expect the same team that brushed County aside yesterday, although LJ may find it difficult to leave top scorer Forte on the bench again.

Home form isn't bad at the moment. Three wins and a draw in the league since the end of November, albeit against opposition as shit if not shitter than ourselves. I'll go score draw.

One of the worst games of football I've seen a long, long time. Think there were 2 chances all game between us, with Barnsley scoring theirs.

We had a lot of the ball but did absolutely nothing with it.

How is Lalkovic getting on Craig?

Exciting player Saddler, don't think we're going anywhere but mid-table this season but if we mount a challenge for promotion next season I reckon he'll be a key player.

Pearson looked disappointing tonight. Presume he's played much better in other games?

Yeah he was class against Port Vale.

He's on a short term loan though so to be honest I'd prefer we gave some of our permanent players a chance in the team. Like you said though Hurrikeen it was a poor game all round so I don't think any of the players stood out to be fair.

Didn't go but apparently we were shite. We need to build a bit of consistency if we want to make the play-offs.

This is why its hard to see many sides being able to catch the top 3 and probably Preston as well. Very difficult to see a side stringing a run of wins together.
