Tea is one of Britain's most famous pastimes, ever since it was brought over from India or something when we were stealing things and killing them.

What the British people have so far failed to appreciate is the power of tea for predicting football. I'm hoping to change that.

Uruguay v Saudi Arabia:
Uruguay or Draw @ 1/50

Iran v Spain:
Iran to score fewer than 3 goals @ 1/500

Anyone using teabags to make tea is throwing money down the drain. The betting knowledge being lost with each gulp could feed a family.

I'm looking at my teabags and I reckon there's more to it than meets the eye. As in you've got to be a tea reading expert like Benji to get this right. One of the teabags's telling me Spain will beat Iran 2-0. Surely that can't be right? I'm thinking more like 5-0 or something.

Benji You should calculate the winnings if you put a certain amount (eg 10 pounds) on each prediction.

Just 3 goals, and all for Croatia. Success.

Nigeria v Iceland:
Fewer than 4 red cards @ 1/500

Therefore a £500 bet returns £501

Can't argue with your 100% win ratio so far. Seems looking into tea bags is more productive than sports astrology.

sorry to disappoint you Benji....if you bet £500 @ 1/500 you will actually win £1....you will get back £501 mate. Perhaps you are a bit confused.....perhaps advised incorrectly.....perhaps well, something else mate.

Apologies for my wording, I of course meant including stake.

Costa Rica v Brazil:
Over 19 throw ins in total in the match @ 1/1000
A £10 bet will return £10.01

Now I'm curious about the average number of throw ins per match.

Storming success in the last game.

England v Panama:
Over 0 freekicks for England in the first half @ 1/1000
A £49.96 bet will return a cool £50
