Best and worst I’ve seen is us, Tranmere! Sorry Rob,but Tranmere were shite at Scunthorpe.
Honourable mentions for Northampton’s second half performance at Prenton. Swindon for their entertaining style and Port Vale who look like they’ve got a bit of everything required to succeed at this level.
Dishonourable mention for Salford who were 2nd best throughout both games we played them.

Fortunately not Manchester United on sunday level shite. Salford deserve everything crap that comes their way. I know we give FGR a bit of stick but they came up the hard way getting to the NL before Swampy took over, same as most other clubs apart from Fleetwood. All the other promoted clubs except Rushden and Diamonds had some decent history. Hopefully Salford go the same way.

Nobody really stands out as best - prob go for Carlisle. Southampton were excellent against us outside of EFL2.
Scunthorpe were comfortably the worst team I’ve seen us play since we got back in the FL. Not much quality at all and clueless. Gas weren’t much better last weekend, which surprised me.

By virtue of the fact that you cannot judge a book by its cover. At least get halfway through before you decide if its any good.
What does that even mean?

This thread asks who is the worst team you've seen this season. I've only seen any team once, Tranmere were one of the worst on that particularly day.

Never seen anyone get so defensive over any slight criticism of their football club.

You've not met some of the newer Lincoln City fans,

I've only seen us twice this season, Walsall should have beaten us before the late equaliser and the Harrogate game one of the worst first halves i've seen in my life. it was like playing a computer game for them and taking the piss.

Best for me was Northampton, although Exeter were close.

Walsall comfortably worst.

I am not getting defensive. The thread is ridiculous.

Yep Northampton were well drilled and unlucky to lose on the day. Exeter probably the best footballing side.

Best - Orient were clinical. Bristol Rovers also absolutely battered us for a half of football. On both occasions we were awful though so I’m sure that helped.

Worst - Stevenage were truly garbage. On a par with our worst performances

Not that it means too much yet, but

Best: FGR. Big, strong and very well organised.

Worst: Can't split Northampton, Sutton and Tranmere (thought they were awful on the day )

Honourable mention for Rochdale, who gave one of the worst 90 minute performances since Graham Barrow was Manager when we played Crawley.

It's lovely that not everyone has said were the worst team they've seen, thank god there aren't any Harrogate fans here.

To be honest, Scunthorpe came here with a plan and pretty much executed it perfectly. It wasn't pretty but you got the point that Cox came for.

I didn't go to the game as it was a bit far, but by all accounts you were dreadful, but still not as awful as Bristol Rovers.

It's a terrible indictment of the current state of the club but our 4-0 loss to Exeter was nowhere near our worst performance this season. The game was very competitive and even for about 40 minutes (which is great for us), the goals just before and just after half time killed us.

From memory you had more of the ball than us, we seemed to just be more clinical. I think you only had 1 actual shot on target that game, but plenty wide/over.

Us as the worst?! That’s mental we play a completely different formation now

Quite simple, best and worst teams you’ve seen this season.

Best for me was Sutton. Organised, composed and really bossed us at Sixfields a few weeks ago.

Worst were either Scunthorpe or Stevenage, no ideas, no quality.
I'm sure Rochdale fans would question that, we were dreadful last week.

Best would be Swindon and Port Vale

Worst at Gander Green Lane were Carlisle and away, Northampton

I remember thinking at half time I’d have snatched your hand off for a point at full time. Was impressed with that Etete, thought he was a right handful and we struggled to cope with him.

Completely agree that Exeter probably played the best football we seen at the Vic so far this season.

That shows the worthiness of his thread. It is a bit of fun but how can you judge a team on one game.

Keep yer knickers on.

Look at the thread title. "Best and worst you've seen"

Northampton were gash against Dale on the only occasion I saw you. I have no clue how you play now because I don't see you play every week.

And breathe.....

It always amazes me how defensive some people get. You've obviously been doing much better recently...perhaps us outplaying you made your Manager have a re-think?

Still think our 90 minutes at home against Crawley is possibly the worst team performance I've seen in this, or any other league for a long time.
