I suppose this thread could go on either music or on here but I'll bang it on this forum
Personally for me Weekender - Some great tunes from the early 90's rave scene, and also Snatch's soundtrack is quite pulsating
Any other cracking soundtracks?

The correct answer to this thread is Guardians of the Galaxy.

Submarine is a good shout. I really like the Spike Island soundtrack too for similar reasons. The best, though, is 500 Days of Summer.

I absolutely love this theme from the end of Gravity, especially the last minute or so of it.

Also, as a fan of horror films, this always gets me:

Sunshine. Purely for the masterpiece that is Adagio in D Minor.

I got too many to list really, I have dozens of soundtracks I listen to, some old, some newer ones. Really like Gravity's OST of a fairly recent film, it adds so much to the whole film.

Found the soundtrack to this while looking at British Sea Power records on Spotify. Really good for anyone who likes the band (and let's face it, who doesn't).

The soundtrack to Dune has some fantastic music in it, but I caught this lesser known theme when flicking over the other night and it is extremely sad, as Paul meets his wife to be Chani and begins to awaken to his monumental power and eventual destiny (which haunts him till the end of his days if you've read the books). There is something eerie about this and I can't get it out of my head just now.

Not heard this in ages, a very typical Zimmer score for a typical Terry Scott film. Went to the pictures to see this with my mates, sat right at the back and threw ice cubes at the screen and made a fool of ourselves I'm sorry to say! Anyway this theme gets the blood pumping for the entertaining shite thats about to come! :D
