Personally I think Forest Green's fans are exceptional in both numbers and atmosphere, not to mention their sprawling personalities.

Yeah, Forest Green fans are amazing and always travel in large numbers. We might even have to dig out those old green temporary seats to accommodate them all next season. :2thumb:

Oi less of the 'constant belittling' of smaller teams please chaps.............. :P1:

I think the locking of the play off thread has saved ChrisFGR from having a full on nervous breakdown....... :fl:

Well the best fans are the ones who turn up week in week out when their team are absolutely pants and the worst ones are those spineless glory hunters who can't be bothered to support their hometown club.
Last season I was very impressed by Portsmouths support, home and away. Hartlepool brought a good number to Prenton park, made a lot of noise when they seemed nailed on for relegation. Best fans in the premier last season Burnley. Special mention to the fans of Chester for keeping their club going.
Worst away support on the planet must go to MK Dons.

I still miss Leigh RMI. We had some great games against them. They went pop our first season as a pheonix club and held us to draws home and away. Who knows maybe one day they'll arise from the ashes.

I have met a few Scunny fans over the years and got along famously with all of them, I respect their dedication to supporting a team that hasn't really had much time in the limelight. As someone else alluded to, it is easy to be a bit of a glory hunting band-waggoning plastic, far harder to support a team that isn't exactly viewed as fashionable. For that reason they earn my respect.

Best sunderland, bristol rovers or brighton for the way they fought for their clubs survival

Worst glasgow celtic or rangers as they still think its 1870, or our youth supporters who only know 3 songs and lip sync to ' one night in gay paris' , you really have to sit back sometimes and listen to the high pitched sqeal when they chant .... Super white army

I'd like to nominate one of the Tin Potter set but they're so scarce I've never managed to encounter any. In any case it must be easy to stick with some Mickey Mouse outfit while their living the dream at the highest level they've ever known and playing against real clubs every other week so instead let's hear it for all of us real fans who've stood by the teams we've supported all our lives even though they've dropped off the edge of the known world and are suffering the humiliation of having to pretend shite like FGR and East Lee are worthy opponents for our clubs and that plonkers like FGR Chris deserve our respect. :bdick:

You must hate nets being ruffled then ;)

Best: 10,000 Dortmund fans at Emirates, in terms of non league, Grimsby I guess

Worst: Never heard Southport or Braintree sing really, Staines Town

Overly rowdy if you ask me. It was more to do with the abuse thrown at Akinde than the violent behaviour towards our netting.
