Happy with that. Better performance than I thought given we have one midfielder. Thankfully at least a couple will be back next week, along with possibly Butterfield coming in.

Some time soon, we're going to batter someone.

Good, even game. Flashes at the end there that when Derby click they'll be a nightmare to defend against.

Clement seems an intelligent guy. Watching Holloway interview him is so cringeworthy, such a thick c***. Whoever it was at Sky who thought it would be a good idea to employ the gobshite as a pundit needs to be taken outside and shot.

Saw on Twitter that Derby have won 2 of their last 17 games, and those were against Wigan and Blackpool. Hardly suggestive of title contenders.

Last seasons debacle has nothing to do with anything.

Hey we don't talk about McClaren ;)

We played pretty decent, it's just not clicking for the goals yet and hopefully that'll happen soon but if it doesn't we will be average.

Last seasons debacle has nothing to do with anything.

This season does though. You look great going forward but poor elsewhere, midfield injuries or otherwise.

Of course you'll feature this season but can see you in/out of the playoffs throughout the season if I was to take a punt.

To the untrained eye this debacle is simply continuing after the off-season break. :smug:

Of course, plenty of time to change.

Why not? It's mostly the same team.

Becase that was down to McClaren losing the dressing room.

Now we're coping well despite incredibly bad luck with injuries to our entire midfield, and every goal we concede is via a deflection. That kind of luck has to change. 100% confident we'll be pushing for the top two once we've got some players back, which should start to happen next week.

Conceeded three league goals this season, all deflections.

This season is nothing compared to the team and approach that went 3-0 down to a Reading team with nothing to play for (at home) on the last day...

Not seen owt because I'm out in Leeds but happy with a point. Got to keep plugging away for that win, regroup and get a few midfielders fit and we'll be good to go IMO.

Such a shame about Hughes. Having Bryson and Hendrick available again will give us a little more edge in midfield too.

It will all come out in the wash, but I'm gaining more confidence with every passing day.

I'm guessing three more bodies in before the window shuts, with what we have, we should be okay.

I still think we look a midtable championship side at the minute, but hopefully it will only get better.

It was always likely to be a slow start, and the injuries didn't help. I just want a good season, no emphasis on promotion for me. I'd be happy with an improvement on last season's points tally.

Really enjoyable game. Nice to see Gleeson get a goal. Derby will be a nightmare to play once they start scoring.

Unfortunately for Derby, deflected goals count just as much as any other, doesn't change the fact that they have fallen behind in their last three games and were saved by the woodwork three times at Bolton and Madine's inability to score from a yard out.

Poor start but they'll be up there.
