Only change could be Pitman may be in the squad after knee surgery. Still won't change the fact we are shocking away from home if its past the M25!!

McGee
Thompson Burgess Clarke Donahue
Close O'Keefe
Lowe Bennett/Pitman Kennedy
Hawkins/Pitman

I do think if Blackburn score early its going to be a 2 or 3 goal swing. possibly 3 or 4-1 to Blackburn

We should win, we'll probably lose, "I don't know Jeff".

I've given up predicting our results. May the best team win and here's hoping everybody has a fun time.

Great post, I also have no idea how this game will pan out, hopefully we dominate as much as we did against Plymouth but win.
Rovers 2-2 Pompey.

I’m hoping Pitman is back, really looking forward to an extended run of Hawkins up top and Pitman just off him.

Pitman just looks a cut above everyone else. Hawkins looks a great bargain buy from non-league too.

This won’t be easy especially as we're about as consistent as the weather.

Terrible - he only scored 60% of our goals until he had to have an op a few weeks back. Making a welcome return today. You barely notice him at times, but he's great at taking a chance once it comes along.

"Only" :lol:

Good to hear he's doing well!

Atmosphere was drab today but I was half way back in the blackburn end and got drenched from start to finish which didn’t help. Pompey fans were good, about 1500 or so, a few still milling about at 6pm in the locals. Be good to see both clubs back were they belong, both where we are due to dodgy owners.

My wife even liked that - and she hates anything to do with football.

A good three points for us and that steward tumble was outstanding. Proper shin breaker that one. We're in the top six now so things are heading the right direction. It was daft of Samuel to get sent off as he now misses the next three games, the next one being against Wigan. Not ideal but it is what it is.

Could be a blessing in disguise in some respects as Joe Nuttall might just get a chance off the bench now. Scored 13 for the U23s so far so he definitely deserves a chance.

13 goals? That's brilliant. I knew he was doing okay but didn't realise how many he scored. It'll be good to see the lad get a chance.

He played about 15 minutes in the Checkatrade Trophy game against Stoke's U23s too and scored the winner. The lad's great to watch, unbelievable that Mowbray hasn't even put him on the bench for a meaningful tie.
