After a 2-2 draw at Carrow Road v Birmingham and a disappointing 1-0 loss to Shrewsbury, Norwich will have mixed emotions ahead of the long trip to the North West of the country. Norwich sit second in the league after going on an unbeaten run since the opening day defeat to Wolves. Blackpool sit 23rd not picking up a win yet this season, after just two draws.
Norwich will go into this game hopefully feeling confident. Their 7 match unbeaten run will give them that boost of confidence despite the loss to League 2 Shrewsbury midweek. Jonny Howson and Gary Hooper both played on Tuesday night after long injuries suffered in pre-season, they could feature on Saturday. In-form Cameron Jerome is likely to start after bagging himself 6 goals in 4 league appearances since joining from Stoke for around £1.5m in the summer. Vadis Odjidja looks to still wait for his first league start since his summer arrival as Alex Tettey and Bradley Johnson, both currently in form.
For Blackpool, after there poor start to the season they might be hoping for a point, especially as they are at home. Looking at their squad, Delfouneso, Miller look talented players and ones I recognised. Blackpool fans, what's going wrong? Is it morale, squad depth, Jose Riga? Leave comments down below. Blackpool played out a 0-0 draw to Brighton away last weekend. Looks to me like a good result. I think Blackpool are a great club and are not a League 1 side. I hope you do well this season.
Last meeting: 7th March 2009, Bloomfield Road, Blackpool 2-0 Norwich.
PREDICTION:
Blackpool 0-3 Norwich.
