Vital 3 points for us with no game in 9 days when we play man Utd in the FA Cup. With some teams at the bottom playing 2 games in that time we could be bottom 4 if results go against us, by the time we play Colchester away. Hoping Colchester get a win against Chesterfield.
As for yesterday we came out of the traps flying and were 2 up in 7 minutes, a great overhead kick into the top corner by Percival to put us ahead and shocking defending by Blackpool to allow Whalley to walk through 2 defenders to put us 2 up. A great strike by Mangan his 4th in 8 since returning to put us 3 up on the half hour.
The danger is that teams take their foot off the pedal at 3-0 up and we allowed Blackpool back in it before half time. Blackpool 2nd early in the "2nd halfwas a good goal by Philiskirk, surprised Oldham let him go? so we then had to up our game but showed great battling qualities to see the result through.

One note, there was never 6000 Blackpool fans there yesterday and I doubt there was 3000! A good away following of around 800.

They count fans who were conned by the two-year season ticket offer even if they don't turn up.

They've doubled their attendance figures all season.

You're not the first person to doubt Blackpool's home support.

Wonder how many will make the trip to Swindon-on-Sea next Saturday?
