Really looking forward to this one, it's a great chance to leave Bradford for a couple of days for a well deserved holiday (before someone gets in there first.

Myself and 3,100 City will descend on Blackpool this weekend. Actually really looking forward to it. Let ar'lass loose with the card while I attend the game.

Big game for a couple of our players. McMahon and Steven Davies have both said in so many words that their time there was one of the worst - and they just so happen to be in decent form. McMahon is doing alreet as a makeshift RM, scoring the odd goal...and I believe he is the highest assistist (is that even a word) in the league with 15 (who the fuck is Bradley Dack) ..Not to be sniffed at. I think Davies has 3 in four from the bench, too.

Hanson went off at half-time at the weekend, so not sure if he'll be fit...probably will.

Hopefully Cullen's got rid of his little bug, as Knott didn't have his best game Saturday.

GK: Ben Williams

RB: Stephen Darby
CB: Rory McArdle
CB: Reece Burke
LB: James Meredith

RM: Tony Mac Man McMahon
CM: Lee Evans
CM: Josh Cullen
LM: Kyel Reid

ST: Wes Thomas
ST: James Hanson

Biggest game of the season for me - a win here would be massive.

I think we'll be well up for it.

3-0 City

Come on Bradford

Also sounds like there will be more away fans than home fans

He had a good game against Posh two games ago so applying the Kyel Reid formula he won't have another good game for at least 4 more games.

Reid was shite! Good finish though. Blackpool look doomed really, beat them without getting out of first gear and playing pretty poor ourselves.

Only downside injury to Burke (and Davies).

Blackpool have apologised for playing Billy Joel's "we didn't start the fire" today.

Surely not intentional?

Why would you have to apologise for that? Obviously they weren't taking the piss, are Bradford going to take offense at every song with the word fire in the title?

No offence Ciderhead, but get your facts sorted before you start accusing Bradford City fans, it was a Blackpool supporter that started stirring the shit.
To put the record straight or to anybody else who thinks Bradford City fans started all this crap about the song, it never came from the Bradford supporters, it's just ludicrous to even think that we would get upset about a song.
The Blackpool fan that started all this picked up on the song that was played over the tannoy at half time and commented on it on twitter and it's just escalated from there, probably just to get press in their Oyston out campaign, and it's working for them BUT at our expense. Not one City fan is upset or for that matter even bothered about it, why the hell should we be bothered, it's a song ffs, this is very weird indeed and beyond belief, even embarrassing, but just to reiterate WE THE SUPPORTERS OR ANYBODY FROM THE CLUB did not complain.

Fair enough, I naturally jumped to the conclusion it was someone from the Bradford end, but I stand corrected.

As you say, it's a nonesense that anyone would be offended by it, but some people do take taking offence as something of a hobby nowadays, especially on behalf of someone else

No worries Ciderhead,
It's amazing how just one stupid post on twitter can escalate into this, but the worst thing is now that it's the City fans getting the flack.
Here's how it all started, as you will appreciate if and when you have read it, it's pathetic really, one stupid tweet.
I can't post a link yet but if you go to the back henry street forum and read the We didn't start the fire thread

No one batted an eyelid in the away end. You couldn't even really hear what was being played as the tannoy system was so shit. Blackpool fans complained about it as they are saying it's never been played before at the ground up until Saturday when we happened to be the visitors. Only Oysten will know for sure but he's already doing a pretty good job of being a scumbag so it doesn't change much in that regard.
