Quite a tough game to call this one, although you would expect Port Vale to be favourites. Blackpool are having a miserable season although they have picked up a few promising results at home over the course of the season. Vale look like a mid-table side, but are very poor on the road so far this season, so this could be an opportunity for Blackpool.

Should win but probably won't!

Think Blackpool are missing a few but have got some impressive home results lately.

We need something from this, but will we even go for it? Our tactics away from Vale Park are so negative.

7 shots and a load of corners yet looks like we've only had one on target! Need that striker ASAP.

Dominated the midfield against Bury and again today by the sounds of it, very able deputy for Granty whilst he has served his ban and hopefully he will get more game time now, maybe suited for us better away from home.

Seen the goal on TV, a bit fortunate but we are due some fortune away from home! Ball seemed to strike Duffy in the upper elbow and then we broke whilst they were arguing with the referee, good first save but hits AJ in the chest and goes in.

Seems like we dominated but again didn't do enough in the final third, if we can get Uche's replacement right we could still do something this season. We are currently forth best defence and forth worst attack I believe!

What was the minutes applause before KO about?

Commentator said "players and fans who died last year" - what?

Oh yes Fleetwood and their fictional rivalry with Blackpool , am sure it will be an awful day for the Seasiders when their biggest and most bitter rivals relegate them. Oh wait!

One thing that annoyed me when I was manager of Leeds was all the teams who would dream up fictional rivalries with Leeds, looks like this still goes on today but lower down the ladder, very disappointing.

Trust me, Blackpool fans would be devastated if Fleetwood were the ones to relegate them as opposed to a Bury or Sheffield United.

Blackpool will be lucky to have Fleetwood consider them rivals in a few years.

AFC Fylde will be Blackpool's competitive rivals in a couple of years

Our away form is dreadful but of our three away wins, two have been of the Fylde coast... Can we play there every away game!
