Could have Dack and Egan back in the starting 11 for this. That would be splendid.

Not going as I have a pre-arranged piss up planned. Bring home the 3 points Gills!

Tough game but having Dack, Egan and McDonald back are massive boosts, expect cody to start with Samuel looking like he will miss this one

Just seen that Samuel is out for this which is irritating. However, it does give us potentially to try something that I reckon could work (because clearly Justin will read this). In my eyes we've looked far better with a back 4 than a back 5 this season, so back to that. The strikers aren't really firing so rather than have two of them under-performing, just play one. If Dack is fit this system will work IMO:

Nelson
Jackson - Egan - Oshilaja - Dickenson
Crofts - Wright - Morris
Dack - Williams
Norris
Having said that, Edinburgh likes the 3 centre back idea, and he likes 2 forwards. So the chances of what I've suggested happening are pretty much zero.

Seems very harsh leaving Ehmer out on recent form.
Then again we do have a lot of options at centre back at the moment with Egan, Oshilaja, Ehmer and El-Abd.
I doubt if Dack is ready to play 90 minutes but just to have him back is a boost for the whole squad.
We need a win though, draws are no good now, even we are unbeaten in 5.

Thing is, if you had to pick 2 out of the 4 to play then you'd pick Egan and Deji (Well, I'd imagine most would). It's a good problem to have though, not that long since we had to play Aaron Morris there in a 2 - not that there's anything wrong with Aaron, but that isn't his best position.

Draw here wouldn't actually be that bad. Win the home games and draw away and we'll come close to the top 2, even if that ship has more or less sailed now.

There is a small part of me that wants confirmation that the play-offs are out of the question sooner rather than later, given that the last 40 games have given very little confidence that we have anything like what it takes to win the last 6 games to even stand a chance.

Last weeks performance was half decent but it's too little, way too late. I would hope Adkins - if he gets another season - would not be swayed by any late season resurgence of players now fretting about being out of contract. There is a big job to be done to make us challengers for promotion next season, and too many have shown they have neither the ability or desire to get the job done.

As for the game, I would only expect Long, McEveley, Adams and Sharp to start who started the SNAFU of the first game. Ordinarily, there would be a desire from the fans for some payback, but presently we'll settle for two decent performances in a row, which we've barely managed this season. I'd expect us to go 3-5-2 again with the key being the central midfield 3, who don't fill me with much confidence. We'll have to go for it, and we can score goals, but we concede way too many so would guess at a 2-2 scoreline.

There's no fucking hope whatsoever even if we win all our games which is 100% not gonna happen. We're shocking away from home. 3 wins in 20. 2 against Colchester and Doncaster the other against scunny that's sums our season up.

Sounded like we played well and should've won?

Any rumours at the ground on Adkins?

Played brilliantly can't believe we didn't win. Was much appreciated at the end too very rare we get clapped off after a draw. Oh well season over but we move on to next year we'll still be there. Utb

Should have had at least one penalty when crofts brought down but the ref gave a free kick instead and also a suspected handball on the line from a luke norris shot.

Another clean sheet, decent point away from home on to walsall at home Tuesday which is massive

I thought it was a pen too but not handball. It's more than a decent point you were hammered from start to finish in all honesty. Similar to day one but you scored 4 and we scored 0 today

Fair enough only went by our text service.

Defensively we have been awesome of late 5 clean sheets in the last 6 games with only one goal conceded, need to sort out our attack and we could be very dangerous in the play offs

We were wasteful too as well as your good defending, shame we can perform like that in the odd game it makes it more frustrating where we are in the league. You should get playoffs the top 6 are pretty much sorted maybe barnsley could push
